Compensation for work performed a. It is recognized that it is the position that is classified and/or placed on a pay scale. The qualifications of the individual will determine placement in the position and performance will determine progression within the pay grade. However, the qualifications or over-qualification of the individual have nothing directly to do with the classification or placement of the position. If the position utilization or requirements change (regardless of the involvement of the incumbent in this change), then the position should be reviewed by the Superintendent or the Superintendent's designee. b. At the inception of the schedule, placement of existing personnel will be recommended to the School Board by the Superintendent or the Superintendent's designee. c. The first five months from the employee's initial date of hire will be considered a probationary period. At the end of the five months, the full- time will be considered permanent. The week's pay that was held back at the time of hiring will be reimbursed, and the employee will be on a regular full-time schedule, i.e., paid to date. d. Compensation for work performed. Shelter Express will be compensated for its services rendered to the date of termination for work completed and not otherwise in dispute. CEMUSA shall not be liable for, and shall have no obligation to pay or reimburse Shelter Express for lost opportunities, lost profits, unabsorbed overhead, incidental costs, expenses due to termination, or consequential, special, punitive, or indirect damages of any kind.

  • Compensation for Consulting Services For each quarter (i.e., three-month period) that Executive provides consulting services to MediciNova pursuant to the option of MediciNova contained in Section 9 above, MediciNova shall pay Executive a sum equal to fifteen percent (15%) of Executive’s annual Base Compensation which shall be applicable at the time of Executive’s termination of employment with MediciNova (prorated for any period of less than a quarter). The parties expressly agree that when Executive is performing consulting services for MediciNova, Executive is acting as an independent contractor. Therefore, Executive shall be solely liable for Social Security and income taxes that result from Executive’s compensation as a consultant. In addition, Executive shall not be entitled to any other benefits including, without limitation, such group medical, life and disability insurance and other benefits as may be provided to employees and/or executives of MediciNova.

  • Compensation for Overtime Assigned overtime is designated as those hours over the regular hours of work which are requested of the employee by management. Assigned overtime worked shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2).

Where and when to report. You must report executive total compensation described in paragraph A.1. of this award term: i. As part of your registration profile at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.gov. ii. By the end of the month following the month in which this award is made, and annually thereafter.

  • A-E Compensation and Extra Work 1.5.1. For the PROJECTS/SERVICES authorized under this CONTRACT, A-E shall be compensated in accordance with the following: 1.5.2. A-E's billing for the Extra Work shall include but not be limited to names of A- E's staff employed in the Extra Work, classification of employees and number of hours worked. 1.5.4. For partial completion of work of PROJECTS/SERVICES followed by default on part of A-E: a. For failure to complete and secure approval of the first required submittal, there shall be no compensation. b. For failure to complete and secure approval of other authorized phases, A-E shall, upon completion of PROJECTS/SERVICES by others, be entitled to receive compensation based on approved work of PROJECTS/SERVICES not to exceed the amounts specified in Attachment A for that particular submittal, plus the reasonable value as determined by COUNTY of the non-approved work; provided, however, that if the cost to COUNTY to complete the contract exceeds the amount specified herein, A-E shall be liable to COUNTY for such excess costs attributable to A-E's breach of the CONTRACT.

  • Termination Compensation Termination Compensation equal to two (2) times the Executive's Base Period Income shall be paid to the Executive in a single sum payment in cash on the thirtieth (30th) business day after the later of (a) the Control Change Date and (b) the date of the Executive's employment termination; provided that if at the time of the Executive's termination of employment the Executive is a Specified Employee, then payment of the Termination Compensation to the Executive shall be made on the first day of the seventh (7th) month following the Executive's employment termination.

  • Additional Compensation Notwithstanding anything in this Memorandum of Understanding to the contrary when in the judgment of the Board, it becomes necessary or desirable to utilize the services of County employees in capacities other than those for which they are regularly employed, the Board may authorize and, if appropriate, fix an additional rate of compensation for such employees.
