Competitive Bidding Required. Other than the Specified General Conditions and Negotiated Support Services work, all Work on the Project shall be competitively bid with public bid openings. Subcontract work shall not be issued for bid until the Contractor has completed the requirements of section 6.6.2 herein. To the extent that the Work qualifies for the use of the alternative subcontractor selection process authorized by RCW 39.10.385, the Contractor may, in conjunction with the Owner, employ this approach in the selection of the mechanical and/or electrical subcontractor(s).

Competitive Bidding Required. The provisions of State law applicable to the procurement of services, materials, equipment, or supplies, other than professional services, by County Boards as set forth in Section 5-1022 of the Counties Code shall apply to all contracts authorized by the PRMS Oversight Committee.
Competitive Bidding Required. All purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment and services and contracting for construction contracts or professional services and all sales of obsolete or unusable property or supplies shall be accomplished by competitive bids or requests for proposals, except as provided, after due notice is given to prospective bidders or professional service providers. In circumstances necessitating sole-source procurement, under emergency conditions, or when only one (1) vendor or contractor is available in the area, procurement and contracts shall be effected with maximum economy to the City, without the necessity of requiring bids thereon; however, a full and complete justification therefor shall be prepared by the requesting department and filed with the documents relating to the transaction. Competitive Bidding Required. The Design-Builder shall furnish to the City a list of potential qualified Subcontractors from whom bids may be requested. The City may identify additional potential qualified Subcontractors from whom the Design-Builder shall request bids. Unless exempted and approved by the City under subsection C or D below, the Design-Builder will perform each element of the Work through a subcontract awarded in accordance with the competitive selection process described in subsection F below. In bundling elements of the Work for subcontracting or self- performance purposes, the Design-Builder is not constrained by the grouping or association of elements of the Work in the Specifications and Drawings.

  • Borrowing Upon receipt of Proper Instructions, the Custodian shall deliver securities of a Portfolio to lenders or their agents, or otherwise establish a segregated account as agreed to by the applicable Fund on behalf of such Portfolio and the Custodian, as collateral for borrowings effected by such Portfolio, provided that such borrowed money is payable by the lender (a) to or upon the Custodian's order, as Custodian for such Portfolio, and (b) concurrently with delivery of such securities.
