Comprehensive Health and Wellness Program. Firefighters are at an increased risk for adverse injuries and illnesses given their occupational exposures and physical demands of the job. To ensure the safety and well‐ being of firefighters and the community which they serve, and in addition to the benefits already provided within Article 18 of this contract, the City of Portland and the Fire Bureau will establish a comprehensive health and wellness program to address their unique needs. The program will include the following components:

  • HEALTH AND WELFARE 36.01 Health and welfare benefits shall be as contained in Appendix "A" of this Agreement and shall form part of this Agreement.

  • HEALTH AND WELFARE PLAN 16.01 The Employer agrees to pay the amount as set out in the Wage Schedules for all hours worked for each employee towards the Insurance Plan administered by the CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund.
