Condition of Space. The Student acknowledges their responsibility to keep Space and Room in a clean and orderly condition and to adhere to sanitation standards in shared spaces. University staff retain the right to conduct health and safety inspections of the Room. Charges may be assessed to Students for damage to, unauthorized use of, or alterations to, buildings, rooms, furnishings, appliances, equipment, or locks, and for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of buildings, rooms, furnishings, appliances, or equipment either within Student’s Room or on the floor or in the building wherein Student’s Space is located.
Condition of Space. Student’s Space shall be kept clean and orderly. Charges may be assessed to Students for damage to, unauthorized use of, or alterations to, rooms, furnishings, appliances, equipment, locks, or buildings, and for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of rooms, furnishings, appliances, or equipment either within Student’s Space or on the floor or in the section of the facility wherein Student’s Space is located.
Condition of Space. Students are responsible for the care of space and equipment. The University performs routine, periodic and preventative maintenance and custodial services. The University may also provide periodic suite bathroom cleaning, subject to staff availability and other conditions. Charges may be made for damages to, unauthorized use of, or alterations to, space, equipment or buildings, as well as for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of space or equipment. Students are jointly responsible for the care of public areas and equipment. "Public areas" are defined as those areas available for use by all students living on a wing, a floor or within a hall. Charges for damages to public spaces and equipment may be made to all students assigned to separate wings, floors or within entire halls as deemed appropriate by Department.
Condition of Space. The Resident is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the assigned space. Charges may be assessed to the Resident for damage to, unauthorized use of, or alterations to rooms, furnishings, appliances, equipment, locks, or buildings, and for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of rooms, furnishings, appliances, or equipment whether within the Resident’s assigned space or on the floor or in the area of the residence hall or apartment wherein the Resident’s assigned space is located. The Resident acknowledges and understands that (a) the assigned space is located in a climate with temperatures, humidity, and other naturally occurring conditions that normally allow the growth of mildew in locations where dampness or moisture are present; and (b) upon moving into the assigned space, the Resident will have control over and knowledge concerning conditions in the interior of the assigned space. Therefore, the Resident agrees to:
i. Maintain the assigned space in a clean condition by mopping, vacuuming, or wiping hard surfaces with a household cleaner.
ii. Remove visible moisture or condensation on floors, walls, windows, ceilings, and other surfaces promptly.
iii. Take other measures as may be necessary to prevent mildew from accumulating in the assigned space (including without limitation reporting immediately to the University any evidence of water leaks or mildew-like growth).
Condition of Space a. Students are responsible for maintaining the assigned space and furnishings in a clean and sanitary manner and free from damages.
b. HRL performs routine, periodic, and preventative maintenance and custodial services within residential communities. HRL provides no custodial services in Student rooms, suites, or apartments.
c. Health and safety inspections are conducted each semester and conduct and financial charges may be assessed to Students for damage to, unauthorized use of, or alterations to, bed space, suite, or apartment, furnishings, appliances, equipment, or locks, and for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of assigned bed space, suite, or apartment.
d. All Housing facilities are located on the main campus of UWF in Pensacola, Florida, which has a climate conducive to the growth of mold and mildew. Because of these environmental factors, Students must set their thermostats on lower settings (between 72-78 degrees) during the summer and notify HRL if they observe mold or mildew.
Condition of Space. (a) Tenant currently occupies the Existing Premises and is familiar with the condition thereof and of the common facilities. Except as expressly provided below, Tenant is leasing the Expansion Space in its current AS IS condition, without any representation or warranty by Landlord. Tenant has had an opportunity to inspect the Expansion Space and is fully aware of the condition of the Expansion Space and has detennined that the same is suitable for Tenant's continued business operations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Landlord agrees that on the Expansion Date (as defined below), the Building systems that serve
(b) The "Expansion Date" will be the later to occur of (i) March l, 2017, or (ii) the date on which Landlord tenders exclusive possession of the Expansion Space to Tenant, (1) free and clear of all tenants and other occupants, (2) broom clean, vacant and with all personal property of any other tenant or occupancy removed, and (3) otherwise in the condition described in Section 3(a) above. From and after the Expansion Date, the Expansion Space shall be part of the Premises for the then-remaining Term of the Lease. Landlord agrees not to extend or renew the lease of the Prior Tenant beyond the Prior Tenant Expiration Date, and Landlord shall use commercially reasonable efforts (which may include the filing and prosecution of a summary process action) to recover possession of the Expansion Space following the Prior Tenant Expiration Date (the "Landlord Action"). Notwithstanding the foregoing, (x) in the event that the Expansion Date does not occur by March I , 2017, then Tenant shall be entitled to a rent credit equal to one-half (V2) day's Basic Rent for the Expansion Space for each day after March 1, 2017 until April 30, 2017 that the Expansion Date does not occur; and (y) in the event that the Expansion Date does not occur on or before May l, 2017, then Tenant shall be entitled to a rent credit equal to one (l) day's Basic Rent for the Expansion Space for each day after May l, 2017 and until the Expansion Date or the date of termination of the Amendment that the Expansion Date does not occur; and (z) if the Expansion Date does not occur on or before to June 30, 2017 (as the same may be extended, the "Outside Date"), then Tenant may elect to terminate this Amendment by a written termination notice to Landlord, which notice shall be given (if at all) prior to the Expansion Date and no later than seven days after the Outside Date, as the same may have b...
Condition of Space. Tenant acknowledges and agrees that (a) there have been no representations or warranties made by or on the behalf of Landlord with respect to the Expansion Space, either with respect to the suitability of the Expansion Space for the conduct of Tenant's business or otherwise and (b) Tenant shall take the Expansion Space in their "AS-IS", "WHERE-IS" condition.
Condition of Space. Tenant has examined the Storage Space and the common areas of the Facility and acknowledges and agrees that based solely on his examination they are satisfactory for all purposes, including safety and security, for which Tenant will use them, and Xxxxxx accepts the Storage Space and the Facility “AS IS.”
Condition of Space. The care of the individually assigned rooms in the residential facilities shall be the responsibility of each student. The student acknowledges their responsibility to keep room assignment and shared spaces in a clean and orderly condition and to adhere to sanitation standards in shared spaces. University staff retain the right to conduct health and safety inspections of the room assignment. Charges may be assessed to students for damage, unauthorized use of, or alternations to rooms, furnishings, equipment, locks, or buildings and for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of residential facility, room, furnishings, appliances, or equipment either within the student’s room or in the residential facility where the student’s room assignment is located. Upon initial occupancy of an assigned room, each student has the opportunity to complete a Room Condition Report (to be completed in Housing Central within 72 hours of move in) attesting to the condition of the room and its furnishings at that time.
Condition of Space. Landlord is providing the Second Expansion Space in its current existing condition (“As-Is Condition”) with no modifications provided by Landlord and Tenant agrees to accept the Second Expansion Space in its As-Is Condition with no modifications provided by Landlord. Landlord’s responsibilities and Tenant’s responsibilities for repairs and maintenance of the Second Expansion Space shall be in accordance with the Lease.
