Terms of Occupancy. A. ERAU is an equal opportunity institution. Housing will not be granted or denied based on gender, race, creed, color, sexual orientation, national origin or religious affiliation. Room and roommate assignments are done by matching criteria provided by the student in their housing application.
B. This contract provides a space (not a specific room) in housing. HRL reserves the right to increase the occupancy of rooms in order to accommodate all guaranteed students. If a student has been approved and has purchased a single room and HRL needs to increase occupancy in the space, the student will have the option to be released from his/her contract without financial penalty or accept a roommate at the double room rate. Students are entitled to their assigned room until removal or relocation is deemed necessary by HRL. The Department of Housing and Residence Life reserves the right to change or cancel a student’s room assignment or consolidate a room in the interest of order, health, displace maximization of residence space, disaster, or administrative reason after reasonable notice to the student. HRL reserves the right to not allow any environment to exist or persist. Any expenses associated with relocation or cancelation will be the responsibility of the student.
C. Contracts from new students required to live on campus must be received by July 1 in order to be included in the roommate matching process; contracts received after this date will be randomly assigned. Housing accommodations cannot be guaranteed to any student unless the student is required to reside on campus.
X. Xxxx paid in accordance with this contract apply to housing occupancy within the published HRL opening and closing dates for all semesters. Unless otherwise established and published by HRL, the residence facilities are open only between the first published date of check-in and the last official day of checkout each contract period. Beyond these dates, students are responsible for securing alternative housing at the student's expense. Fees paid in accordance with this contract do not apply to occupancy beyond the contract period.
a. Housing extensions may be available at a cost of $50 per night and must be requested on line at xxxxxxxxx.xxxx.xxx.
E. In accordance with this contract, students who are confirmed and assigned to housing within HRL are entitled to all services provided, as stated in HRL publications.

Lakeland reserves the right to increase the occupancy of rooms in order to accommodate all freshman. Terms of Occupancy. This contract is for the entire period indicated on this contract or the portion of the period remaining at the time of initial occupancy.
Terms of Occupancy. The University grants the Resident a license to use and occupy both the individual room (the “Room”) and an assigned suite (the “Suite”) at Graduate House (60 Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, XX, X0X 0X0) (hereinafter called the "premises") assigned pursuant to sections 3.0 to 3.4 of this Agreement during the Occupancy Periods as outlined in Section 1.1. Acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement constitutes a binding commitment by the Resident for the full term as outlined in Section 1.1 of this Agreement.
Terms of Occupancy. Students residing in the Residence Halls must vacate the room and return their key no later than 24 hours after their final exam or noon on the final day of the occupancy period. Graduating students must vacate by noon on the day following the University’s graduation ceremony. Campus housing is closed between semesters. These periods are not included in the Agreement. The right to use campus housing during these periods is reserved in the University.

A. If the Student took occupancy prior to January 1, 2018 and/or the Student’s eligibility is based on having physical custody of their child/children or grandchild/grandchildren at least 50% of the time and/or living with a spouse/adult partner, the Student agrees that residence in Family Student Housing is limited to a maximum of five (5) calendar years (sixty (60) months) for each undergraduate student, six (6) calendar years (seventy-two (72) months) for each graduate student, and four (4) calendar years (forty-eight
Terms of Occupancy. 1. The period of occupancy is determined by the Office of Student Affairs/Fraternity Sorority Life. Each occupant is responsible for knowing the appropriate dates. The following parameters will be observed.
a. Occupants who have agreements for an academic year may take occupancy beginning the Friday immediately prior to the first day of undergraduate classes, and may maintain occupancy until 12 noon on the day after the occupant’s last exam except for graduating students who may maintain occupancy until 5:00 p.m. on Commencement Day (“Occupancy Period”). A one-day extension may be granted to students unable to vacate their room upon written request prior to final exams.
b. Occupants who have agreements for summer sessions I and II may take occupancy on the first day of classes and must vacate their room before 12 noon on the day after the last day of classes. Summer Occupants must be students enrolled in summer courses at the University.
2. The room is expected to be vacant and in good order when the student takes occupancy. Any deficiencies or prob- lems must be reported promptly to the Chapter President/House Manager. The room must be vacated and left in good order on the final day of occupancy.
3. If the Occupant violates any provision of this Agreement, OFSL and/or the Fraternity/Sorority have the right to termi- nate this Agreement whereupon the occupant must vacate the Chapter House and remove all personal property of the occupant no later than the date specified by OFSL.
4. In the case of expulsion from the Chapter House the Fraternity and the University reserve the right to dispose of the occupant’s belongings as abandoned property if they are not promptly removed by the occupant from the chapter house. Neither the Fraternity/Sorority nor the University shall be responsible for the occupant’s personal belongings.
Terms of Occupancy. Student is responsible for all of the terms of this Agreement and as a member of the Student Housing community agrees to comply with all university rules, regulations, policies, procedures and community living standards including those printed in the Student Code of Conduct, the Campus Living Guide, the academic Catalog, and any other university publication or electronic access site. All such rules and regulations are by this reference incorporated into this Agreement. This Agreement is not a lease. It creates no exclusive right on the part of the student to occupy any portion of university property. The university may assign or reassign the student to specific housing when, in the university’s sole discretion, it deems such action necessary. The student may not assign any rights or obligations created by this Agreement.
Terms of Occupancy. This Contract is a month-to-month agreement.
A. If the Student took occupancy prior to January 1, 2018 and/or the Student’s eligibility is based on having physical custody of their child/children or grandchild/grandchildren at least 50% of the time and/or living with a spouse/adult partner, the Student agrees that eligibility for Family Student Housing shall not exceed a maximum of: five (5) calendar years (sixty (60) months) for each undergraduate student, six (6) calendar years (seventy-two (72) months) for each graduate student, and four (4) calendar years (forty-eight (48) months) for postdoctoral scholars. The maximum eligibility for families with two UCSC students in Family Student Housing is ten to twelve years.
B. Families who are not expectant parents or do not have a minor child and moved into Family Student Housing on or after January 2018, please note the following Terms of Occupancy that may impact your household and continuing eligibility.
1. If you take occupancy on or after January 1, 2018 and your eligibility is based on living with an adult child, sibling, parent, or grandparent, then your eligibility for Family Student Housing will end on June 30, 2024. Continued occupancy after this date is subject to availability in University Housing as determined by the University in its sole discretion.
2. In addition to the limitations specified in section V.B.1, if you take occupancy on or after January 1, 2019 and your eligibility is based on living with a spouse or adult partner without a minor child, then your eligibility for Family Student Housing will end on June 30, 2024. Continued occupancy after this date is subject to availability in University Housing as determined by the University in its sole discretion.
C. Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, its threat to the health and safety of our community, and the evolving nature of this and future emergencies or health threats, the University may amend the terms of this agreement without notice to reduce spread.
