Common use of Conference Leave and Expense Clause in Contracts

Conference Leave and Expense. 1. Bargaining unit members may be permitted to attend one (1) conference or convention (per year) which may be called by the Michigan Department of Education, or its agents, or by a comparable professional society, for which attendance by the bargaining unit member is compulsory in the opinion of the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. Reimbursement for travel expenses to such conference shall be allowed as follows:
