The Grant Recipient must have and will keep in place formal procedures that require the Grant Recipient and its Representatives to declare any personal or financial interest in any matter concerning the Funded Activities and if a conflict of interest is identified the individual is to be excluded from any discussion or decision-making relating to the matter concerned.

The Grant Recipient must inform the Authority immediately if there are any grounds for suspecting financial irregularity in the use of the grant, explain what steps are being taken to investigate the irregularity and keep the Authority informed about the progress of the investigation. For these purposes “financial irregularity” includes (but is not limited to) potential fraud or other impropriety, mismanagement, and the use of grant for any purpose other than those stipulated in this Agreement.

  • Conflicts of Interest Prohibited Conflicts of interest, including those arising from University or outside activities, are prohibited. Employees are responsible for resolving such conflicts of interest, working in conjunction with their supervisors and other University officials.
