Consecutive holidays. The employee is entitled to take up at least three consecutive weeks of holiday per calendar year. The employer is entitled to stipulate that the employee takes at least two consecutive weeks of holiday per calendar year.

Consecutive holidays. 9.12 The Employer agrees that Employees shall be eligible to take accrued vacation time the first of the month of the Employee's yearly anniversary.
Consecutive holidays. Upon request of an employee, the Home, when scheduling holiday weeks for the employees, shall make a reasonable effort to schedule the holiday off on the same day as the employee’s day off. The number of employees scheduled off under this provision will depend upon staffing needs as determined by the Home. Bargaining unit seniority shall prevail under this provision.

  • Worked Holidays Employees who are required to work on the above described holidays shall receive the pay due them for the holiday, plus twice their base rate for all hours worked on such holidays.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

An employee who works overtime on a holiday shall be compensated in accordance with all applicable pay and overtime provisions. An employee must use holiday compensatory time within one (1) year after having accrued that time.
