CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT. 1.5.1. The Construction Superintendent is the individual employed by the Contractor whose principal responsibility shall be the supervision and coordination of the Work. The Construction Superintendent shall not perform routine construction labor.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT. The Design-Builder shall designate an employee of the Design-Builder, any Affiliate of the Design-Builder, or the Design-Builder’s construction manager (the “Construction Superintendent”), who shall be present on the Project Site with any necessary assistants on a full-time basis when the Design-Builder or any Subcontractor is performing the Design-Build Work. The Construction Superintendent shall, among other things: (1) be familiar with the Design-Build Work and all requirements of this Design-Build Agreement; (2) coordinate the Design-Build Work and give the Design-Build Work regular and careful attention and supervision; (3) maintain a daily status log of the Design-Build Work; and (4) attend all construction progress meetings with the Owner and the Owner’s Representative. The Design-Builder may change the person assigned as Construction Superintendent, subject to the provisions of subsection (C) of this Section.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT. To further aid the Owner in analyzing the bids and scope of the project, each Contractor submitting a bid will include a Resume of their proposed Project Manager and the Field Superintendent, illustrating their respective experience in the Construction and Management of Commerical, Retail and/or Doctor’s office building construction projects. Please list that information.
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT. The Superintendent is Xxxx Xxxxx of Xxx Xxxxx Construction, Inc., 0000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxxx, WY 82718. At all times during the progress of the Work, Contractor shall assign a superintendent thereto. The Superintendent shall be capable of reading and understanding the Contract, including all Construction Documents, and experienced in the type of work being performed. The Superintendent shall not be replaced without written notice to Owner and Professional Service Provider except under extraordinary circumstances. The Superintendent shall be Contractor's representative at the Site and shall have authority to act on behalf of Contractor, including full authority to execute orders or directions given by Owner without delay, and to provide materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals promptly, as required. All communications given to or received from the Superintendent shall be binding on Contractor.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • Superintendent The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor and all communications given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor.   • Construction Manager The individual, partnership, corporation, joint venture, or any combination thereof, or its authorized representative, named as such by the District. If no Construction Manager is used on the Project that is the subject of this Contract, then all references to Construction Manager herein shall be read to refer to District.

  • Superintendent of Schools The duly appointed executive officer of the Owner authorized to act by and through The School Board of Broward County, Florida. Referred to hereinafter as the Superintendent.

  • Construction Management Landlord or its Affiliate or agent shall supervise the Work, make disbursements required to be made to the contractor, and act as a liaison between the contractor and Tenant and coordinate the relationship between the Work, the Building and the Building’s Systems. In consideration for Landlord’s construction supervision services, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a construction supervision fee equal to three percent (3%) of Tenant’s Costs specified in Section 7.

  • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • Construction Management Plan Contractor shall prepare and furnish to the Owner a thorough and complete plan for the management of the Project from issuance of the Proceed Order through the issuance of the Design Professional's Certificate of Material Completion. Such plan shall include, without limitation, an estimate of the manpower requirements for each trade and the anticipated availability of such manpower, a schedule prepared using the critical path method that will amplify and support the schedule required in Article 2.1.5 below, and the Submittal Schedule as required in Article 2.2.3. The Contractor shall include in his plan the names and resumés of the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and the person in charge of Safety.

  • Construction, Etc Each covenant contained herein shall be construed (absent express provision to the contrary) as being independent of each other covenant contained herein, so that compliance with any one covenant shall not (absent such an express contrary provision) be deemed to excuse compliance with any other covenant. Where any provision herein refers to action to be taken by any Person, or which such Person is prohibited from taking, such provision shall be applicable whether such action is taken directly or indirectly by such Person. For the avoidance of doubt, all Schedules and Exhibits attached to this Agreement shall be deemed to be a part hereof.

  • Construction Bonds, Insurance and Supervision (i) The Recipient shall require that each of its Contractors furnish a performance and payment bond in an amount at least equal to 100 percent (100%) of its contract price as security for the faithful performance of its contract. (ii) The Recipient shall require that each of its construction contractors and each subcontractor maintain during the life of its contract or subcontract appropriate Workers Compensation Insurance, Public Liability, Property Damage and Vehicle Liability Insurance. (iii) The Recipient shall provide and maintain competent and adequate project management covering the supervision and inspection of the development and construction of the Project and bearing the responsibility of ensuring that construction conforms with the approved surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections and specifications and certifying to the OPWC and the Recipient at the completion of construction that construction is in accordance with the approved surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections and specifications or approved amendments thereto.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.
