CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. It is understood and agreed that the provisions of this Agreement are subordinate to any present or subsequent federal, state, or municipal law or regulation, including family leave and military leave, to the extent that any portion hereof is in conflict therewith, and nothing herein will require the Company to do anything inconsistent with the orders or regulations of any competent government authority having jurisdiction to issue the same. Because of the parties joint commitment to safety, nothing in this Agreement or in the parties practices will preclude the Company from complying with findings and recommendations of any governmental safety agency with 14 days prior notice to the Union. Upon request, the parties will meet and confer on such findings and recommendations. Except in the case of emergency, the Company will make no changes pursuant to such findings and recommendations before 14 days, but in no event is the Company precluded from making any such changes after having given the Union 14 days notice if the Company was available to meet and confer during that period.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. The Lessee shall not contravene or commit any contravention of any Law, By-Law, Regulation or Direction of any competent authority relating to or affecting the Premises let, or any rule of the Home Owners Association and/or Body Corporate and Lessor which is applicable.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. Licensee is responsible for complying with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and licenses with respect to its products and exhibit. This includes but is not limited to; labour legislation with respect to minimum wages and benefits of employees, Provincial Worker’s Compensation coverage, temporary & foreign worker legislation and immigration requirements while working at its exhibits.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. The RM Parties, and each of them, represent and warrant to Manager that, to the best of their knowledge, the Assets were not directly or indirectly derived from activities that may contravene U.S. Federal, state or international laws and regulations, including, without limitation, any applicable anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. It is understood and agreed that the provi- sions of this Agreement shall be subordinate to any present or subsequent, provincial, fed- eral, state or municipal law or regulation to the extent that any portion hereof is in con- flict therewith, and nothing shall require the Company to do anything incon- sistent with the franchises, indeter- minate permits, certificates of convenience and necessity or laws under which it may from time to time operate or exist, nor any- thing inconsistent with the orders or regula- tions of any competent governmental author- ity jurisdiction to issue the same.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. If at any time while all or any portion of this Warrant is outstanding, the exercise of the Warrant and the issuance of Common Shares pursuant thereto is deemed to be illegal or in contravention of then applicable state or federal laws, the Company shall be excused from performing any of its obligations or complying with the terms and conditions of this Warrant Agreement until the date that the exercise of this Warrant or the issuance of Common Shares pursuant thereto is not in contravention of then applicable state or federal law. In connection with the foregoing, the Company shall use its reasonable best efforts to maintain the effectiveness of this Warrant under then applicable state or federal law.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. The Lessee shall:-
11.1 comply with all laws, by-laws and regulations relating to tenants or occupiers of business premises or affecting the conduct of any business carried on in the Leased Premises;
11.2 not contravene or permit the contravention of any of the conditions of title under which the Property is held by the Lessor or any of the provisions of the Town Planning Scheme applicable to the Property;
11.3 not carry on its business in such a manner as to become a nuisance to any other occupier of the Building.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. 39.1 The provisions of this Understanding shall be subordinate to any present or subsequent Federal law, State law or City Charter provisions.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. 10.1 In the event that any provision of this Agreement is in conflict with a current or future federal or State Law or City Charter provisions the applicable Federal, State, or City Charter provision shall govern.
CONTRAVENTION OF LAWS. If any provisions of this Exhibit B are in contravention of the laws or regulations of the United States or of the State of Washington, such provision shall be superseded by the appropriate provisions of such law or regulation so long as the same is in force and effect; but all other provisions of this Exhibit B shall continue in full force and effect.
A. Basic Group Term Life Insurance
