Course Postings. (a) All course contracts available to Members will normally be posted on the University’s website under “Employment Opportunities” no later than March 15 for the Spring/Summer term and June 30 for the Fall/Winter terms, it being understood that these postings are subject to change without notice. The Xxxx, or the Xxxx’x designate, is responsible for communicating directly with Members who hold RFR before the posting deadlines outlined above.
(b) The CASBU Officer will be notified, in writing, of all available course contracts.
(c) The Xxxx, or designate, is responsible for informing the CASBU Officer, by e-mail, of any additions to course postings made after the deadlines outlined in Article 17.5(a). The e-mail will specify which courses have been added.
(d) The Xxxx, or designate, is responsible for directly communicating with any Member who holds RFR on a course that is posted two (2) weeks or less before the course begins.
Course Postings. (c) The Xxxx, or designate, is responsible for informing the CASBU Officer, by email, of any additions to course postings made after the deadlines outlined in Article 17.5(a). The email will specify which courses have been added.
Course Postings. The Employer will offer courses to employees prior to hiring incoming professionals.
(a) When the Employer offers a course in table games for dealers, the notice of the course shall be posted for a minimum of seven (7) working days. The Chief Shop Xxxxxxx shall receive copies of all course postings.
(b) All applications for posted courses shall be in writing on a form provided by the Employer.
(c) Provided applicants are not qualitatively different in respect of skill, ability, experience and qualifications to successfully complete the course, the final selection by the Employer will recognize seniority as the key factor.
(d) The Employer will pay the cost of all courses offered and furthermore will pay dealers their regular hourly rate for time spent in such training.

(b) All applicants for posted courses shall be required to sign up on a form provided by the Employer. Successful applicants shall be given 7 days' notice prior to the commencement of the course or seminar.
(c) Suitability of applicants shall be determined by their qualifications. Where the number of suitable applicants exceeds the number of available space, the course will be offered in service seniority order.
(d) The Employer will pay the costs of the trainer for all courses offered by the Employer.
(e) Time spent by an employee attending a course or seminar as approved by the Employer, shall be considered time worked and shall not result in a loss of pay. Any hours in a course or seminar that result in more than eight hours in one day or 40 hours in one workweek shall be compensated as per Article 16 - Overtime.
(f) Employees must have sufficient availability to be scheduled or called in for the position or game they have taken training for.
(g) Employees required to complete online courses shall be compensated in a manner consistent with the Employer's policy and practice at the time of ratification of this agreement. The Employer's current practice is to assign online courses during a regular shift and pay employees at their regular rate of pay. Where employees indicate a preference to do online courses on their own time, they will not be compensated by the Employer.

(2) All applicants for posted training shall be required to sign up on a form provided by the Employer. Successful applicants shall be given seven days' notice prior to the commencement of any training.
(3) Where the number of suitable applicants exceeds the number of available spaces, the course will be offered in service seniority order.
