Policy and Practice. A. With respect to any matter which is covered by this Contract, the District shall take no action during the period to which this Contract relates which is inconsistent with any item in this Contract. 1. To reduce benefits presently provided the bargaining unit employees including wages, work hours, seniority, vacations, holiday pay, pension, incentive plans which are a form of wages, health, and welfare. 2. This section does not apply to changes made beyond the District’s control, including but not limited to such items as the State changing retirement benefits or the CSD Insurance Trust changing health benefits. B. With respect to any working condition which is not covered by this Contract, the District shall make no changes without having given written advance notification to the Federation and such advance notification shall be given in time for there to be discussion thereon prior to implementation of any changes. The result of such changes shall be subject to the grievance procedure. C. Provided, however, that the District reserves the right to manage its affairs, including the right to hire, suspend, discharge, transfer, promote, or demote, as well as the right to relieve employees from duty because of lack of work or for other legitimate reasons, except as provided specifically in the Contract. None of the foregoing rights shall be exercised in a manner which is arbitrary, capricious, unjust, or discriminatory. D. A working condition shall be defined as any matter that vitally affects the terms and conditions of employment. Such matters that are plainly germane to the working environment and not among those managerial decisions which lie at the core of managerial control. E. The Board of Education requires all staff members to review and comply with Board policies, regulations, and procedures as well as related building rules and practices. Policy and Practice. Cepheid ensures the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services. For this purpose, it has the ability to restore the availability and access to relevant services support and complaints case handling data in the Cepheid systems in a timely manner in the event of a physical or technical incident.
Policy and Practice. A. The parties acknowledge that during the negotiations which resulted in the Agreement, each had unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, and that the undertakings and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth by this Agreement. B. Any previously adopted policy, practice, rule, or regulation existent which is in conflict with any provision of this Agreement is superseded and replaced by the applicable provision of this Agreement. C. Any previously adopted policy, practice, rule or resolution of the COMMITTEE which effects mandatory subjects of bargaining regarding wages, hours or conditions of employment of bargaining unit employees will not be changed by the COMMITTEE without affording the UEP notice and an opportunity to bargain regarding the impact of the change prior to its implementation. D. The COMMITTEE shall not during the life of this Agreement adopt any policy, practice, rule, or regulation with respect to wages, hours, standards of productivity and performance, and any term and condition of employment inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement, without prior negotiations. Such negotiations shall not compel either party to agree to a proposal or make a concession. E. As to every matter not covered by this Agreement, the COMMITTEE retains all the powers, rights and duties as set forth in Article II and may exercise the same without any such exercise being made the subject of negotiations and/or arbitration proceedings. The COMMITTEE may bring such matters to the UEP for discussion for the purpose of obtaining input from the UEP. The introduction of such matters by the COMMITTEE does not constitute a basis for negotiations and/or arbitration proceedings on such matters. F. The UEP may bring such matters to the COMMITTEE for the purposes of providing input by the UEP. The introduction of such matters by the UEP does not constitute a basis for negotiations and/or arbitration proceedings on such matters. G. During the life of this Agreement, the parties hereto may, by mutual consent, amend this Agreement.

The Hall shall provide the Committee with such information and access as the Committee may reasonably require from time to time in order to establish whether the policy of the Hall is consistent with the University’s academic strategy and with its approved plans. (c) The Hall shall adhere to the values of a liberal education, conducted in the spirit of free and critical enquiry and debate. (d) Research carried out by the Hall shall comply with the University’s policies on the conduct of research, including its policies on research ethics. (e) Except as specifically agreed by Council in each case, neither the Hall, nor any unit within or associated with it, shall teach for a certificate, diploma or degree other than those recognised or delivered by the University. (f) The principal buildings of the Hall shall be situated within two and a half miles of Carfax, Oxford.
