Common use of CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Clause in Contracts

CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE. All employees shall be classified according to previous comparable drug store experience. Previous comparable experience shall be granted on the following basis: (1) out of the industry for less than one (1) year will receive credit for fifty percent (50%) for their previous experience to a maximum credit of twelve (12) month's credit for previous experience. (2) out of the industry for more than one (1) year will receive credit for fifty percent (50%) for their previous experience to a maximum credit of six (6) month's credit for previous experience. No previous experience will be considered unless it has been stated by the employee on his/her Application for Employment form.

When hired by the employer, the company will notify employee’s in writing that they must declare previous experience on the union membership application form. Previous comparable drug store experience shall be granted on the following basis: (1) out of the industry for less than one (1) year will receive credit for fifty percent (50%) for their each year of previous experience to a maximum credit of twelve (12) month's credit for previous experience3641 hours on the wage scale. (2) out of the industry for more than one (1) year will receive credit for fifty percent (50%) for their previous experience each year of service to a maximum credit of six (6) month's credit for previous experience. No previous experience will be considered unless it has been stated by 2081 hours on the employee on his/her Application for Employment formwage scale.
