Paid Time Off Program. The purpose of the Paid Time Off Program (PTO) is to allow each eligible employee to utilize PTO as the employee determines best fits the employee’s personal needs and desires, including sick leave, medical appointments, personal time, holidays, or vacation.

Paid Time Off Program. The Paid Time Off (PTO) program provides eligible nurses with appropriate compensation during holidays, vacation time, and periods of illness or injury for the nurse or to care for a dependent child (including child over 18 years old with a disability) with a health condition that requires treatment or supervision, or to care for a spouse, parent, parent-in-law, grandparent or domestic partner of a nurse in the event of a serious health condition or an emergency condition pursuant to the requirements of this Article and subject to related Employer policies. The purpose is to allow each eligible nurse to utilize PTO as the nurse determines best fits the nurse's personal needs or desires.

Paid Time Off Program. The Paid Time Off (PTO) program provides eligible full-time, half-time and part-time nurses with paid time off for holidays, vacation time, personal time and periods of illness, injury, or treatment for nurses and their families. The purpose of PTO is to allow each eligible nurse to utilize PTO as the nurse determines best fits the nurse’s personal needs or desires. Nurses have the right to use their accrued Paid Time Off for low census days. Full- time, half-time and part-time nurses begin accruing PTO on the first day of work, based upon compensated hours not to exceed 1,872 in an anniversary year and in accordance with the following schedule:
Paid Time Off Program. 12.1 Fifty three (53) hour employees shall accrue leave according to the following table, expressed in hours per year. New employees shall be credited with one (1) day of personal leave for each four (4) months of employment. New employees shall not be entitled to use vacation until completion of probation. Personal leave is intended to be used for minor personal illness, family illness, bereavement or to attend to personal business. Shift employees shall notify the company officer on duty of the intent to take a personal leave day. Use of personal leave by shift personnel on the date of an observed holiday (refer to Section 12.9) requires the advance approval of a Duty Chief. Unused personal leave shall be converted to vacation as of June 30 of each year and shall be subject to the maximum carry over provisions of Section 12.
Paid Time Off Program. 12.1 Paid Time Off Accrual (a) Time off with pay for vacation, Holidays, and sickness is called Paid Time Off (PTO). PTO has two parts: The PTO plan and the Extended Illness Time (EIT) (See Article 13). Employees will begin accruing PTO and EIT upon first day of work. During introductory period employee is allowed to use PTO for Hospital recognized Holidays (Article 11.1). Departmental managers shall monitor employees with negative PTO balances.
