No one leaving the dance will be readmitted. e. Doors will be opened from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. f. Students will not be released from the dance before 9:30 p.m., without parent/guardian permission. g. All students must be picked up no later than 10:00 p.m. Any student at the site later than 10:30 may lose Saddleback Dance privileges for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year.

Dance Policy. The following policies have been formed to serve as a reference for faculty and as a guide for students of Shippensburg Area Senior High School when sponsoring, chaperoning, and participating in extra-curricular dances. The school will not sponsor more than 3 dances per year including the Prom, the Homecoming dance, and one other dance, unless approval is given by the principal. These policies shall apply to the personnel of the high school, to the dances held at the high school, and/or to other dances which may be held under the sponsorship of the high school.
Dance Policy. Approval to organize a dance must be received from the student council and the principal. Xxxxxxxxxx, at least 8 teacher chaperones and 2 policemen (regular or reserve) are required. Guests - One (1) guest per STA student is permitted. Guest tickets must be purchased in advance. They cannot be purchased at the door. All guests are to be registered prior to the dance and escorted by a STA student. All guests need to sign-in at the door. Students who were asked to leave St. Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx High School are not permitted to attend dances as a guest. The Administration reserves the right to deny a guest entrance to a school sponsored dance/activity. 61 G E N E R A L I N F O R M A T I O N Hours will be from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. No one may enter after 8:15 p.m. or leave before 10:15 p.m. Students departing prior to 10:15 p.m. may do so only if met by a parent or guardian in the lobby. Smoking is not permitted in the school building or on school property. Violations will be dealt with according to the discipline code. Drugs and alcohol possession/consumption will be dealt with according to the discipline code. Weapons/Firearms possession will be dealt with according to the discipline code. Bare feet are not allowed Book bags, Duffel bags, backpacks, hats, sunglasses, canes etc. are not permitted to be brought to a dance. Clean up is the responsibility of the dance sponsor. A Financial report must be given to the bookkeeper. Dress Code is the same as for a Dress Down Day unless otherwise noted. Students are allowed to be in possession of their cell phones during the school day (7:55 a.m. – 2:02 p.m.) if they are powered off and stored away. Cell phones may be used for instructional purposes during class only with the permission of the teacher. In addition, students may only use the forms of communication and applications on their phones that are permitted by the teacher. Students may use their cell phones during their lunch period. When the use of cell phones is permitted by the classroom instructor, students will have access to a filtered internet connection that is consistent with the internet access available to other school technology equipment, including computers, laptops and tablets. Students who use their phone to access the internet must abide by the terms and conditions of the STA Acceptable Use Policy: Technology Agreement.   • R&W Insurance Policy (a) Buyers have negotiated the R&W Insurance Policy. Immediately following the execution and delivery of this Agreement, Buyers shall bind coverage in respect of the R&W Insurance Policy to incept as of the execution and delivery of this Agreement and shall timely pay that portion of any premium and underwriting fee, in each case then due and payable, to the R&W Insurer to bind and incept coverage under the R&W Insurance Policy. Buyers shall take commercially reasonable action to pay the R&W Insurer the remainder of premium and all other costs required for issuance of the R&W Insurance Policy when due. Buyers shall take commercially reasonable action to execute and cause to be executed and delivered all documents attached to the R&W Insurance Policy or as otherwise may be required by the R&W Insurer in connection with: (a) binding coverage under the terms of the R&W Insurance Policy on the date of this Agreement and (b) issuing the final R&W Insurance Policy. The R&W Insurance Policy shall include a provision whereby insurer expressly irrevocably waives, and agrees not to pursue, directly or indirectly, any subrogation rights against the Sellers or any of their Affiliates or representatives with respect to any claim made by any insured thereunder unless such claims were the result of fraud prior to the Closing by any Seller or any of its Affiliates or representatives. The Sellers shall use commercially reasonable efforts to assist and cooperate with the Buyers in connection with any claim by any Buyer under, or recovery by any Buyer with respect to, the R&W Insurance Policy. Buyers shall not take affirmative action to amend the subrogation or third party beneficiary provisions contained in such R&W Insurance Policy benefiting any Seller without the consent of such Seller. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the Sellers, jointly and severally, shall reimburse and indemnify Buyers and their respective Affiliates, directors, officers, managers, members, employees and agents for any and all loss, liability, demand, claim of any kind, action, cause of action, cost, damage, fee, deficiency, tax, penalty, fine, assessment, interest or expense (including attorney’s fees, consultant fees, expert fees and any other reasonable fees including the reasonable fees, costs, charges and expenses of attorneys, accountants, brokers, consultants and/or other experts and/or other professionals in each case at their then-prevailing rates) arising out of or resulting from a breach of the representations and warranties in Article III of this Agreement up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $3,300,000.00 (being an amount representing one-half of the initial retention amount under the R&W Insurance Policy). Sellers’ obligation in this Section 10.23(b) shall remain in full force and effect until the latest of 45 days after the expiration of the R&W Insurance Policy, 60 days after all pending claims under the R&W Insurance Policy are fully and finally resolved, or the satisfaction in full of all outstanding obligations of the Sellers under this Section 10.23(b).

  • Grievance Policy While Acacia University endeavors to maintain a congenial and responsive atmosphere for its students conducive with its educational purposes, it recognizes that from time to time, misunderstandings and disagreements may arise during the course of a student’s enrollment. In response to this situation, Acacia University has established procedures to resolve problems and ensure fair adjudication of student rights. Initially, disagreements, complaints, misunderstandings, and grievances can be resolved by the University by using informal discussion, exchanges, persuasion, and other informal procedures. It is the intent of this policy to maximize these informal procedures so long as such measures prove effective. The formal procedure provisions of this policy should be set in motion only when the informal procedures prove to be or manifestly will be ineffective. It is expected that the great majority of cases will continue to be handled in accordance with informal procedures. If a student feels that he or she has been treated unfairly or unjustly by an employee, online mentor, instructor, or professor with regard to an academic process such as grading, testing, or assignments, the student must submit a written statement of the grievance, including the allegation; all relevant names and dates, a brief description of the actions forming the basis of the complaint; and copies of any available documents or materials that support the allegations, to the Office of Student Affairs (xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx), who is the final authority on all academic matters. If a student has a grievance on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, age, marital status, national origin, physical disability, veteran’s status, any other basis prohibited by applicable US federal, state, or local laws or any other matter, the student must submit a written statement, including the allegation; all relevant names and dates, a brief description of the actions forming the basis of the complaint; and copies of any available documents or materials that support the allegations, to the Office of Student Affairs (xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx).   • Attendance Policy ‌ Existing policy requires that an employee notify management in advance of the scheduled shift start when said employee is absent from work. This policy also requires an employee to notify management in advance of the scheduled start of the work shift when this employee will be late in reporting to work. Generally, these provisions are most relevant to unscheduled absences. There are two situations which occur relative to tardiness. The first, involves an employee who has not called in before the start of the work shift as is required by existing policy. The second applies to an employee who calls in before the start of his or her work shift: Section 1. Employee Fails to Call in Before Start of Work Shift: An employee who is tardy and has not called in before the start of his or her scheduled work shift will be considered to be in an unauthorized leave status. The first occurrence of this type tardiness will result in the employee receiving a verbal reprimand and being docked pay as below. A second occurrence within a twelve (12) month period will result in the employee not being permitted to go to work thereby forfeiting eight hours pay, and also, it will result in the employee receiving a written reprimand from the Supervisor. A third occurrence within a twelve (12) month period will result in an automatic three- day suspension without pay. A fourth occurrence within the twelve (12) month period will result in the scheduling of a pre-disciplinary conference with the employee being recommended for dismissal from service with the City of Xxxxxxxx. Section 2. Employee Calls in Before Start of Work Shift as required When an employee is tardy and has notified management in advance of the start of the scheduled work shift, a different set of circumstances will initially occur. The first occurrence of such tardiness will be considered to be an excused absence; however, the employee will be docked an appropriate amount of pay in accordance with the length of time he or she is tardy. If the crew is still at the garage, the employee will be docked for lost time in increments as follows: Period Late Time Docked 16 - 30 minutes ½ hour 30 - 60 minutes 1 hour In the event the crew has left for the job site and the employee must be transported by a Supervisor to the site, the employee’s time for pay purposes will be started when he or she reaches the job site. Again, the amount of pay which will be docked will be figured in time increments as above. In the event an employee has a second occurrence of tardiness within a thirty-day period, even though he or she has called in, the employee will receive a verbal reprimand from the Supervisor. Appropriate loss of time policy will be in effect as described above. In the event an employee has a third occurrence of tardiness in this manner within a ninety-day period, the employee will be issued a written reprimand concerning the violation of Departmental attendance policies. In the event the employee has a fourth occurrence of tardiness within a six-month period, the employee will be considered for disciplinary action involving a minimum three-day suspension without pay. In this particular situation, such disciplinary action will be meted out after a pre-disciplinary conference is scheduled by management. If additional tardiness occurs within a one (1) year period, the employee will again be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from employment with the City. Such disciplinary action will be meted out after a pre-disciplinary conference is scheduled. Section 3. An employee will not be disciplined under Section 2 of this Policy if the employee has six (6) or fewer unscheduled absences for any time off, including, but not limited to, vacation, sick leave, compensatory leave, holiday leave, and funeral leave within a Section 4. Excessive absenteeism or tardiness results in disruption to the scheduled activities, an excessive waste of supervisor and management time in transporting employees to job sites, and further results in a hardship on other employees who are available for work at the start of their work shift as required.‌

  • Insurance Policy The Employer agrees to remit to the Union an amount to be applied toward the payment of a premium by the Union for an insurance policy which provides a defense attorney to represent all members of the bargaining unit when they are charged with a criminal act that results from events occurring while the bargaining unit member was acting in an official capacity. The maximum amount payable during the term of the Agreement shall be seven dollars ($7.00) per member per month.

  • Insurance Policies Insurance required herein shall be by companies duly licensed or admitted to transact business in the state where the Premises are located, and maintaining during the policy term a "General Policyholders Rating" of at least B+, V, as set forth in the most current issue of "Best's Insurance Guide", or such other rating as may be required by a Lender. Lessee shall not do or permit to be done anything which invalidates the required insurance policies. Lessee shall, prior to the Start Date, deliver to Lessor certified copies of policies of such insurance or certificates evidencing the existence and amounts of the required insurance. No such policy shall be cancelable or subject to modification except after thirty (30) days prior written notice to Lessor. Lessee shall, at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of such policies, furnish Lessor with evidence of renewals or "insurance binders" evidencing renewal thereof, or Lessor may order such insurance and charge the cost thereof to Lessee, which amount shall be payable by Lessee to Lessor upon demand. Such policies shall be for a term of at least one year, or the length of the remaining term of this Lease, whichever is less. If either Party shall fail to procure and maintain the insurance required to be carried by it, the other Party may, but shall not be required to, procure and maintain the same.

  • Title Insurance Policies The Borrower will deliver to the Administrative Agent a policy of title insurance (or marked-up title insurance commitment or title proforma having the effect of a policy of title insurance) (a “Title Policy”) insuring the Lien of such Mortgage as a valid first mortgage or deed of trust Lien on the Mortgaged Property described therein in an amount not less than the estimated fair market value of such Mortgaged Property as reasonably determined by the Borrower, which Title Policy shall (A) be issued by a nationally-recognized title insurance company reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent (the “Title Company”), (B) include such reinsurance arrangements (with provisions for direct access, if necessary) as shall be reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent, (C) be supplemented by a “tie-in” or “aggregation” endorsement, if available under applicable law, and such other endorsements as may reasonably be requested by the Administrative Agent (including (to the extent available in the applicable jurisdiction and/or with respect to the Mortgaged Property, in each case, on commercially reasonable terms) endorsements on matters relating to usury, first loss, zoning, contiguity, revolving credit, doing business, public road access, survey, variable rate, environmental lien, subdivision, mortgage recording tax, separate tax lot, and so-called comprehensive coverage over covenants and restrictions) if available under applicable law at commercially reasonable rates and (D) contain no other exceptions to title other than Permitted Liens and other exceptions acceptable to the Administrative Agent in its reasonable discretion;

  • R&W Policy (a) Purchaser has conditionally bound a representations and warranties insurance policy (the “R&W Policy”) pursuant to the binder agreement which was provided to Seller for review in advance of the Execution Date and which is attached hereto as Exhibit H (the “R&W Conditional Binder”). From and after the Execution Date, each Party shall use its commercially reasonable efforts to satisfy the conditions set forth in the R&W Conditional Binder as of the Closing Date. (b) Seller and Purchaser shall each pay fifty percent (50%) of all costs of obtaining the R&W Policy, specifically the premium, surplus lines Taxes and fees, and any related broker compensation and underwriting fees; provided that Seller’s share of such costs shall be paid by Seller via the adjustment of the Cash Purchase Price pursuant to Section 2.3(n). (c) Purchaser agrees that after the Closing it will not agree to any amendment of the R&W Policy that would be expected to cause actual and material prejudice to Seller without Seller’s prior written consent. (d) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, none of the Seller Indemnified Parties shall be entitled to any proceeds from the R&W Policy. Notwithstanding anything in this Section 5.18 or otherwise to the contrary, nothing herein shall be interpreted to limit Purchaser’s rights to make or pursue claims, or secure recovery under the R&W Policy, as Purchaser believes, in its sole discretion, to be in Purchaser’s interests.

  • Sub-Advisor Compliance Policies and Procedures The Sub-Advisor shall promptly provide the Trust CCO with copies of: (i) the Sub-Advisor’s policies and procedures for compliance by the Sub-Advisor with the Federal Securities Laws (together, the “Sub-Advisor Compliance Procedures”), and (ii) any material changes to the Sub-Advisor Compliance Procedures. The Sub-Advisor shall cooperate fully with the Trust CCO so as to facilitate the Trust CCO’s performance of the Trust CCO’s responsibilities under Rule 38a-1 to review, evaluate and report to the Trust’s Board of Trustees on the operation of the Sub-Advisor Compliance Procedures, and shall promptly report to the Trust CCO any Material Compliance Matter arising under the Sub-Advisor Compliance Procedures involving the Sub-Advisor Assets. The Sub-Advisor shall provide to the Trust CCO: (i) quarterly reports confirming the Sub-Advisor’s compliance with the Sub-Advisor Compliance Procedures in managing the Sub-Advisor Assets, and (ii) certifications that there were no Material Compliance Matters involving the Sub-Advisor that arose under the Sub-Advisor Compliance Procedures that affected the Sub-Advisor Assets. At least annually, the Sub-Advisor shall provide a certification to the Trust CCO to the effect that the Sub-Advisor has in place and has implemented policies and procedures that are reasonably designed to ensure compliance by the Sub-Advisor with the Federal Securities Laws.
