Definition of the Bargaining Unit. The Bargaining Unit consists of all regular, full-time sworn employees of the Department of Police and Public Safety (Protective Services) whose positions are classified as Police Officers V through I and Sergeants V through I. All other employees in this department are excluded from recognition in this bargaining unit such as employees in positions classified as Director, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, Crossing Guard, Student, Clerical Personnel and full-time parking enforcement personnel.
