Delayed Time. A bus or train operator who is delayed in the completion of his or her run or tripper beyond the scheduled time for completion of his or her scheduled assignment shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half his or her regular rate for such delayed time only to the extent that the delayed time exceeds eight (8) hours of work for that Operator on that day including report and travel time.

The working time can be delayed during a maximum of ten shifts at each time, unless the local parties have agreed on another period. Shifting of the working time shall not result in loss of income in relation to the ordinary schedule. Employees which immediately state that they are indisposed, due to for example personal relations, family, health or the means of travelling to and from the place of work, shall not be ordered to work delayed working hours.   • Banked Time Overtime & Time Balancing Overtime is earned when the Company requests an employee to work overtime. Banked straight time is earned when an employee requests approval to work additional hours for the purpose of accruing time for time balancing purposes, there is an operational requirement for the work to be done, and the Manager approves the banked straight time in advance. Employees shall have the choice of having their authorized overtime paid out or accrued as per Articles 21.02 and 21.03 in a renewable time bank, subject to the following conditions:

  • Extended Time Teachers, including but not limited to counselors, special education building coordinators, and library media specialists, who are assigned extended time beyond the school year to complete their regular school year duties will be paid on a pro-rata basis from the applicable salary schedule.

  • Released Time Should the investigation or processing of any grievance require that an employee(s) or an Association representative(s) be released from his/her regular assignment, upon request of the Association, he/she shall be released without loss of pay or benefits.

  • Turnaround Time The number of hours between scheduled shifts shall not be less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours. Violations shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half for all hours worked on the shift following the hours of rest.

  • Flex Time Upon agreement of the supervisor's immediate supervisor, an individual flex-time schedule may be established.

  • Crib Time 17.6.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked provided the employee continues working after such crib time.

  • Prep Time ‌ Each teacher shall be provided daily with a minimum of an uninterrupted sixty (60) minute preparation period, except that an emergency, as determined by the Appointing Authority, within an institution may temporarily necessitate other assignments. During prep time, teachers must be allowed full access to their class room or designated workspace without disruption. Part-time teachers shall receive a pro-rated preparation period based on ten (10) minutes for each class period taught, with a minimum of thirty (30) minutes per day.

  • Comp Time In lieu of payment for overtime hours worked, the employee may request to take compensatory time off. Approval shall be at the discretion of the Department Head. If the request is approved by the Department Head, one and one-half (1 2) hours of compensatory time shall be credited for each overtime hour worked. A maximum accrual of compensatory time shall be forty (40) hours. Flex Time. The County recognizes and supports the concept of Flex time. Flex time is allowed within the work week as it is defined in Article 20, Section 2 of this contract. If an employee requests, an employee and their department head may agree to allow an employee to flex their schedule. However, in some departments and under some circumstances flex time may not be feasible and will not be permitted. No employee shall be required to take flex time off in order to avoid the payment of overtime or as a condition of continued employment.

  • Pay Days The Employer shall pay salaries and wages every second Thursday in accordance with Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each pay day each Employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of his/her wages (including hourly rate), overtime and other supplementary pay and deductions. The Employer shall not be held responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond the Employer's control.
