Daily Hours. 21.1. This clause in conjunction with Clause 20, Working Hours, of the General Agreement replaces clause 9, Hours of Duty, of the Award.
Daily Hours. 16.01 Employees shall not be required to accept less than one full scheduled shift on any week day with the following exceptions:
a) Where a short shift has been arranged by previous notice;
b) If excused at their own request;
c) When discharged for cause;
d) In case of an emergency due to uncontrollable conditions;
e) An Employee reporting for work on their regular shift without previous notice that their regular work is not available, will be given a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their regular rate.
Daily Hours. (a) On any day a Seasonal Employee is required to work, the ordinary hours must not be less than three (3) hours a day.
(b) Wherever possible, the Employer will prescribe the daily ordinary hours of a Seasonal Employee; however, variations may occur at short notice due to the fluctuating nature of work performed by a Seasonal Employee.
(c) A Seasonal Employee may be rostered to commence their ordinary hours anytime prior to 2.00pm daily.
(d) A Seasonal Employee may work ordinary hours beyond 6.00pm.
(e) A Seasonal Employee shall be entitled to overtime for hours worked in excess of their daily ordinary hours for their employment category.
(f) A Seasonal Employee who commences their ordinary hours after 12.00pm will be paid a Shift Work Allowance in accordance with clause 21 of the Public Service Award 1992.
Daily Hours. The daily hours of work shall be: Day Shift - 0600 hours to 1800 hours Night Shift - 1800 hours to 0600 hours Nothing in this schedule prevents employees from exchanging shifts with other employees by mutual agreement provided the designated Supervisor is so advised in writing, in advance where possible, and further provided that no payment of overtime shall result. Employees may also continue the present practice of making mutual cover-off arrangements for early/late starts or quits provided no payment of overtime shall result.
Daily Hours a) For shift work classification daily hours shall be:
i) Maximum of ten (10) consecutive hours and a minimum of five (5) hours per shift including a paid meal period, and
ii) Authorized hour(s) worked beyond ten (10) in any one (1) shift shall be considered overtime.
Daily Hours. Daily ordinary hours will be no less than four (excluding meal breaks) and no more than 11 (including meal breaks) and may be worked on any day, Monday to Sunday inclusive.

f) For Employees working a three (3) day, thirty-six (36) hour work week reporting for work on their regular shift without previous notice that their regular work is not available, will be given a minimum of six (6) hours pay at their regular rate. The choice of alternative work or pay in lieu of work is the prerogative of the Employer.
Daily Hours. The regular hours of daily work shall be consecutive, except for interruption for lunch periods.
Daily Hours. The starting and ending times for each paraprofessional working day during the school year shall be determined by the principal after discussion with the paraprofessional.
Daily Hours. Minimum of 7 hours Mon-Sat and 6 Hours Sunday and Public Holidays - Annual Leave Rotation (This will allow all members time off during peak periods) - Annual Leave Loading paid on a week by week basis. (No longer averaged over all leave) - Increase in Bereavement Leave. (Additional day if outside Melbourne and additional 2 days if outside Australia) - Increase in Parental Leave. (Primary carer’s increase from 12 weeks to 14 weeks and secondary carer’s increase from 1 week to 2 weeks. This is also inclusive of an improved “Safe Job Provision”) - Trauma Leave. (The introduction of additional leave that is not Work cover or Sick Leave for members to access when involved in a traumatic incident of event. This covers the day of the incident and an additional two full days) - Family Violence Leave. (The introduction of up to 10 days additional leave if you are the victim of Family Violence. This leave can be accessed for assistance with counselling and professional services and can be staggered over a 12 month period rather than taken in one lump sum.) - Late Payment of Wages. (If you are paid incorrectly by Xxxxx Xxxxx and it is Yarra who is at fault with an amount exceeding $20, then Yarra Trams will make a manual payment into your bank account with 72 hours) - Traffic Officer Drivers. XXX’s will now progress through the 3 level structure of Depot Starter Classification whilst performing the duties of a Depot Starter. Zero to three years paid as Depot Starter Grade 1 level 1. Three to five years paid as Depot Starter Grade 1 Level 2 and for above five years paid as Depot Starter Grade 1 Level 3. Yarra Trams will also run a RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) which will produce immediate progression for some members of this classification - Meal Allowance. (A 20% increase in the meal allowance quantum to $20 per meal and the standardization of all meal allowances.) - Plain Clothes Allowance (Increase in the Plain Clothes Allowance to $28 per week.)
