Department Chair Reassigned Time Tables. Compensation for department chairs shall be provided as reassigned time. Reassigned time shall be based primarily on department size (FTEF) according to the following table: Department Size (FTEF) Reassigned Time (FTE) is at least but less than 1.00 4.00 0.10 4.00 8.00 0.20 8.00 10.00 0.30 10.00 14.00 0.40 14.00 18.00 0.50 18.00 − 0.60 FTEF is calculated as the average spring and fall FTEF as of February 15 of the preceding academic year. For the Counseling department, FTEF shall be calculated according to the formula: FTEF = (number of full-time faculty) + (non-contractual classroom LHE ÷ 15) + (associate faculty counseling hours per week ÷ 25) For the Library department, FTEF shall be calculated according to the formula: FTEF = (number of full-time faculty) + (non-contractual classroom LHE ÷ 15) + (associate faculty library hours per week ÷ 15) Reassigned time for chairs with extended contracts (Counseling and Library departments) shall extend throughout their contracts. By the beginning of the second eight-week session of the spring semester each year, the Office of Instruction shall provide the Faculty Assembly with information on spring and fall FTEF and the department chair reassigned time for the upcoming academic year determined in accordance with this Article, for verification and inclusion as an appendix to this Agreement.   • Department Chairs The release time required to perform the administrative functions of the Department Chair positions shall be deducted from the total workload of the Department Chair with no less than fifty percent (50%) of this release taken from direct instructional duties.

  • Department Chairperson The department Chairperson has the dual responsibility of leading the department in fulfilling its responsibilities in academic and personnel areas and of facilitating the functioning of the department. The department Chairperson is the normal channel of communications between the department and other departments, division/areas or like groupings, offices and the administration.

  • CONTRACTOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Contractor shall designate a customer service representative (and inform Enterprise Services of the same) who shall be responsible for addressing Purchaser issues pertaining to this Master Contract.

  • Department’s Contract Manager The Department’s Contract Manager, who is primarily responsible for the Department’s oversight of the Contract, will be identified in a separate writing to the Contractor upon Contract signing in the following format: Department’s Contract Manager Name Department’s Name Department’s Physical Address Department’s Telephone # Department’s Email Address If the Department changes the Contract Manager, the Department will notify the Contractor. Such a change does not require an amendment to the Contract.

  • Employee Personnel Files 1. There shall be only two files established for maintenance of employee performance and discipline records. The official personnel file, secured at the SPS office and the working building/program file secured at the building/program.

  • Using Student feedback in Educator Evaluation ESE will provide model contract language, direction and guidance on using student feedback in Educator Evaluation by June 30, 2013. Upon receiving this model contract language, direction and guidance, the parties agree to bargain with respect to this matter.

  • Gender Reassignment Services This plan covers services related to gender reassignment. Preauthorization may be required for gender reassignment surgical services.
