Department of General Services. Effective April 1, 2002, Department of General Services (DGS) employees who are required to climb Telecommunications tower antenna structures and employees of the same department who are required to hold backup safety lines for climbers at a height of thirty feet or more, shall receive an hourly differential of ten dollars ($10) per actual climbing hour using climbing equipment or holding backup safety lines. Climbing requires the use of hands and feet and shall not include such things as taking an elevator or climbing stairs contained in a building upon which a tower antenna structure is located. Employees are required to complete training prescribed by DGS in positions requiring climbing.

The premises shall house FEMA modular medical units, which will be used as an alternate care site providing treatment, isolation, and quarantine of patients afflicted with COVID-19.

The premises shall be used for temporary housing for less critical patient care including treatment, isolation, and quarantine of patients afflicted with COVID-19. The site will support local hospitals.

The provisions of this Article shall not apply to Energy Assistance Workers or UC Claims Intermittent Intake Interviewers, except as noted in Section 4 above; or, unless a UC Claims Intermittent Intake Interviewer qualifies for permanent benefits pursuant to Article 29, Section 21.h.
Department of General Services. (DGS) Approval. For the benefit of State on the one hand and Palco on the other hand, the DGS Approval shall have been received, and all appraisal and transaction documents shall have been approved by the DGS. State shall promptly submit all appraisal and transaction documents to DGS for its review and approval as they become available. The DGS shall not unreasonably withhold or delay its approval of any documents submitted pursuant to this Section 5.4.

1. A license agreement for 6-month period ending September 22, 2020 at a monthly rent not to exceed $5.00 per sq. ft. for 185,000 sq. ft. for a total of $77,083.33 per month. The agreement also includes two 3-month renewal options to extend the agreement with the same terms and conditions.
2. Utility expenses for the State’s use of the site which are estimated as follows:
a. $15,500 for April 2020;
b. $43,000 for May 2020;
c. $64,000 for June 2020;
d. $70,000 for July 2020;
e. $75,000 for August 2020; and
f. $64,000 for September 2020. The increase in utilities is due to the site moving from an empty staged building to a fully occupied site and the need for cooling of the entire space through the summer months.
3. Services procured from vendor contracts already in place to support the Convention Center including: food, internet, telecommunications, electrical needs and audiovisual equipment:
a. Centerplate (Food & Beverage Cost) at $180,913.89 for period 3/23/20 – 4/30/20; x. Xxxxx (Electrical Setup Cost) $180,678.20;
