Differential for Field Training Officers. Bargaining unit members who are requested to serve as Field Training Officers (FTO) by a supervisor shall receive an additional $2 per hour pay differential for hours worked in an FTO capacity.

Differential for Field Training Officers. Officer in Charge Consistent with current MDTAP Directives, Chapter 5, Section I, Officers working as an Officer-In-Charge (OIC) or a certified Field Training Officer (FTO) in the classification of MDTA Police Officer II, pay grade 152, Senior Officer, pay grade 153, or Police Corporal, pay grade 154, will receive differential compensation. Those eligible personnel performing these duties at the rank of MDTA Police Officer II or MDTA Senior Officer will be compensated at the pay rate of an MDTA Police Corporal, Grade 154, on an hourly basis, when performing assigned duties as an OIC or a certified FTO. Those eligible personnel performing these duties at the rank of MDTA Police Corporal, Grade 154, will be compensated at the pay rate of a MDTA Police Sergeant, Grade 155, on an hourly basis when performing assigned duties as a certified FTO. To be eligible for FTO differential, officers must have successfully completed the MDTAP Field Training Officer’s Program and must be designated by the Employer as an MDTAP Field Training Officer.

  • Field Training Officers The position of Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be held by a Trooper or Sergeant who most closely meets the requirements set forth by the Employer which are outlined in policy OSP-501.08. If the Employer determines there are an insufficient number of qualified volunteers, it may appoint other individuals to be FTOs. The District Commander shall make the final selections. A supplement of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) shall be given to all FTOs for the sixty (60) working day training period. This amount will be prorated in instances where the training period is cut short or lengthened. Field Training Officers and their trainees will be required to work twenty (20) days on each of the three shifts during the training period.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.
