Common use of Differential Leave Clause in Contracts

Differential Leave. After ten years of District service, an employee upon request shall be granted a one-time differential leave of up to six days. The employee will receive payment for these days, less the cost of a substitute from the county list. An employee shall notify the Superintendent at least forty-eight hours in advance of taking such leave. Such leave shall not be approved unless a substitute from the county list can be employed for the period of the leave.
