The Employer shall have the right to demand production of a medical certificate when an employee has been absent from duty due to illness or injury for three (3) days or more and on the fourth separate occasion of one (1) day or more duration in a calendar year. Such medical shall indicate the first and last day of illness and that the employee is fit to resume work, and when such medical certificate is demanded and not produced by the employee, the Employer shall not be required to pay the employee wages for any time away from work.
