DOCUMENTED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION. Unless specifically exempted in this agreement or in a separate written agreement adopted by the parties, placement each year on the Prorated State Salary Schedule will be based solely on official transcripts and forms and documented experience data in the employee's file and will be in accord with criteria established by State law, WACs, and SPI guidelines for S-275 reporting. Each employee shall be personally responsible for submitting to the District by October 1 of each year any information (official transcripts, verification of previous employment) which might affect said employee's placement on the salary schedule. The District shall be under no obligation to adjust salary schedule placement during the current year for any employee who submits information to the District after the above-mentioned October 1 deadline. For employees hired after September 1, 2008, prior experience with school age children shall be granted for purposes of salary placement to Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Audiologists and Vision Specialists. Employees in these positions who were granted similar experience credit prior to September 1, 2008, shall continue to receive it.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Payment of Extraordinary Education Related Expenses Section 5.1. PAYMENT OF EXTRAORDINARY EDUCATION-RELATED EXPENSES. In addition to the amounts determined pursuant to Articles IV and VI of this Agreement, Applicant on an annual basis shall also indemnify and reimburse District for all non-reimbursed costs, certified by the District’s external auditor to have been incurred by the District for extraordinary education-related expenses directly and solely related to the project that are not directly funded in state aid formulas, including expenses for the purchase of portable classrooms and the hiring of additional personnel to accommodate a temporary increase in student enrollment caused directly by such project. Applicant shall have the right to contest the findings of the District’s external auditor pursuant to Section 4.9 above.

  • Program Management 1.1.01 Implement and operate an Immunization Program as a Responsible Entity 1.1.02 Identify at least one individual to act as the program contact in the following areas: 1. Immunization Program Manager;

  • Professional and Education Leaves (a) Leave of absence with pay or without pay may be granted to employees to attend professional and educational meetings, courses, or other events which may be judged beneficial to the employee's professional development, especially as it relates to her responsibilities with the Employer.
