Donating Sick Days. Upon approval by the Superintendent, or designee, a WBEA employee shall be allowed to donate sick days from their accumulated sick bank to another WBEA employee for the care of an employee’s immediate household family member due to a catastrophic illness or injury. The maximum number of donated sick days an employee may receive per incident of catastrophic illness or injury is ninety (90) days. Before using donated sick days, an employee shall have exhausted all personal sick and business days, both current allotment and accumulated. Unused donated sick days shall be returned, at the end of the school year, to the donating employee(s) in a method that is proportional to the original number of days donated.

  • Sick Days Employees will be provided with 6 sick days per calendar year. Sick days are paid at 75% of the employee’s step rate.

  • Lieu Days Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clause 17.3 or 17.4 of this Agreement, the time off granted will be seven (7) hours per lieu day for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee.

  • Four Day Work Week 28 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 29 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 30 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.
