Double Time for Holidays. Any Social Services Practitioner (assigned to Children’s Services), Social Services Supervisor (assigned to Children’s Services), and Social Services Assistant who is in on-call status on a holiday, as defined in the MOU between the parties, and who is called in to work on such holiday shall be paid two times (2X) his/hertheir base hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on that holiday irrespective of whether such hours worked would be considered overtime under any other provision of the MOU.

  • 000 STATUTORY HOLIDAYS 18.100 The following days will constitute the recognized holidays within the terms of this agreement. Any other holiday proclaimed by either the Provincial or Federal Government will be automatically recognized within this Agreement.

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
