Driving. Lessee and guests must strictly comply with posted speed limits. Lessee and guests shall operate vehicles in a safe manner and in no event drive onto sidewalks. Lessee will not deposit excessive mud or dirt into streets or parking spaces.
Driving. Provision of driving lessons to the Student or supervision of the Student as a learner driver requires prior approval by the School, and are also at the discretion of the Homestay Provider. Where the Homestay Provider chooses to supervise the Student, the Homestay Provider must abide by Victorian driving Laws and ensure that the Student’s driving to or from the School is consistent with the School’s driving policy (if there is one). The Homestay Provider must be mindful of the Student’s swimming ability and familiarity with water. The Homestay Provider should exercise caution and ensure supervision of the Student around home or public swimming pools, beaches and other bodies of water. Schooling requirements The Homestay Provider must: support and encourage the Student to attend School every day and on time; ensure the Student has safe and appropriate transport to and from School; notify the School Representative of any concerns they have about the Student’s School attendance; and notify the School Representative of any absences of the Student from School in accordance with the School’s policy. The School will monitor the Student’s course progress. If the Student encounters difficulties in completing the Student’s course, the School may provide or arrange additional support, such as tutoring. The Homestay Provider is not responsible for the Student’s course progress, or for providing or arranging learning support. The Homestay Provider may voluntarily assist the Student by providing learning support, however this is not mandatory.
Driving. If a Faculty chooses to drive his or her own car to a meeting, the Faculty may be reimbursed at the current established IRS mileage rates for travel to and from the activity.
Driving. Please do not drive or operate anything in the vehicle when you are under the influence of drink or drugs or any medication that may cause drowsiness. Do not operate any mobile device such as a mobile telephone whist driving the van.

You must not permit your Overseas student: to be a passenger in a vehicle driven by a driver with a learner licence (L-plates) without written permission from their parents and us; to be a passenger in a vehicle driven by a driver with a provisional driver licence (P-plates) without written permission from their parents and us; to be a passenger in a vehicle unless the vehicle is registered, roadworthy, properly maintained and has adequate insurance to cover damage to property and injury to persons. if the vehicle is registered under the Overseas student, parent or legal custodian’s name; with approval from the Overseas student’s parent or legal custodian. The Overseas student may, with the permission of their parent or legal custodian, undertake driving lessons with a professional driving instructor when holding a Queensland learner licence. Please be aware that, regardless of their age, all water activities are High-risk. You must exercise extreme caution and ensure close supervision around home swimming pools, beaches and other bodies of water. Overseas students must undertake a Water Skills Assessment facilitated by the school if they would like to be approved to take part in any water activity not arranged by the school. This means that both the Water Skills Assessment and ISP travel and activities request form are required prior to participating in water activities..
Driving. Ashburton College does not allow international students to drive or own a car, motorbike or scooter while they are enrolled at the school. Students are allowed to have professional driving lessons with a registered instructor. Parents may apply in writing to the International Director for exceptions to this rule.
