Common use of Duration of Leave Clause in Contracts

Duration of Leave. Employees eligible for parental leave may take this leave beginning not later than 52 weeks of the child being born or coming into care. Unless otherwise mutually agreed females on pregnancy leave wishing to take a parental leave must commence parental leave immediately following the end of the pregnancy leave unless the child has not come into custody, care and control of the parent for the first time.
