An Inservice associated with an early student release shall conclude at 5 the end of the regular professional work day. 6 7 Staff Meetings: Staff meetings should be held for the purpose of discussing methods of 8 teaching, discipline, and management and for the consideration of methods for the improvement 9 of the school. 10 11 Employees are also required to attend not more than eight (8) staff meetings which extend up to 12 forty (40) minutes beyond the professional work day. This shall not preclude meetings being 13 scheduled during the professional work day. 14 15 Whenever possible, agendas will be provided for meetings at least twenty-four (32) hours in 16 advance. However, additional announcements or items may be added, at any time, to the agenda. 17 Employees may recommend items for the agenda. 18 19 School-wide Supervision: School-wide supervision, school activities and control will be 20 shared equitably by all staff members. To this end, each employee shall participate on a 21 voluntary basis. The building administrator will establish a procedure to insure equitable 22 participation. 24 Delayed Start due to Hazardous Conditions: In the event of a delayed start of school, 25 certificated staff or work sites impacted by such a change in schedule shall make a good faith 26 effort to arrive at work at the normal start time. However, if due to hazardous driving conditions, 27 the employee is unable to arrive on time there shall be no deduction of leave time or loss of pay 28 provided the employee arrives one-half (½) hour prior to the altered start of the student school

  • Addressing Objections Raised During Public Comment Period The Parties agree that the procedure contemplated for public review of this Stipulated Order and the Regional Water Board’s or its delegate’s adoption of this Stipulated Order is lawful and adequate. The Parties understand that the Regional Water Board or its delegate has the authority to require a public hearing on this Stipulated Order. If procedural objections are raised or the Regional Water Board requires a public hearing prior to the Stipulated Order becoming effective, the Parties agree to meet and confer concerning any such objections, and may agree to revise or adjust the procedure and/or this Stipulated Order as necessary or advisable under the circumstances.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Petition for Annual Conference Session The Local Church acknowledges that pursuant to the governing standing rules of the Annual Conference, petitions for consideration of the legislative body must be submitted to the Secretary of the Annual Conference on or before April 1 of the current Annual Conference year. The Annual Conference will make reasonable efforts to assist the Local Church in completing the required petition, which will include this Disaffiliation Agreement as an attachment thereto making it subject to public review. If the petition is not filed in a timely manner, the Parties will make good faith efforts under the standing rules of the Annual Conference to cooperate to bring the petition to the legislative floor for consideration by appropriate motions to suspend the standing rules for the purposes of considering the petition.
