Earning Credit Hours. An employee may earn up to three (3) credit hours per workday. Credit hours may be earned in one-quarter (1/4) hour increments. An employee may accrue up to 28 hours during a pay period, however, only a maximum of 24 credit hours may be carried over from the prior pay period. Part-time employees may not carry over from the prior pay period more than one-half of their weekly part-time tour. Credit hours must be earned in advance of their use.

Earning Credit Hours. Working credit hours must be requested by the employee and preapproved by the supervisor. For an example of credit hours, an employee is scheduled to work 7 hours on Monday. The employee requests and is approved to work 2 additional hours on that day. If the employee works at least 73 more hours during the pay period, the 2 additional hours are considered credit hours because they are more than the scheduled basic 80 hours that the employee is required to work in this particular pay period. However, if at the end of the pay period the employee has not accounted for 80 hours with a combination of approved leave and work, the 2 additional hours are counted towards the 80-hour biweekly work requirement and are not credit hours.
Earning Credit Hours. (a) An employee may, with prior approval by the Employer, work additional time to earn credit hours at a POD, a Flexiplace site or any other location approved by the Employer. The employee’s request to work credit hours will be approved if management determines that appropriate work is assigned, necessary and available and if it determines that the performance of such work at the time requested is not rendered inappropriate based on logistical, safety and/or other factors such as availability of seating, security, utilities or supervision. Management’s determination to grant or deny an employee’s request to work credit hours will be communicated in writing or by e-mail, prior to the time of the credit hours requested and will state the reason for any denial. (b) Whenever deemed appropriate by the Employer, a written understanding between an employee and his or her supervisor, defining circumstances when working credit hours are appropriate, will constitute prior approval under this subsection. For example, a manager and employee may agree that the employee may work credit hours whenever a field visit extends past the XXX of the employee.

  • Credit Hours Any hours worked under a Flexi-Tour or Gliding Schedule which are in excess of an employee’s basic work requirement which, upon management approval (e.g., that sufficient work to be performed exists), are worked at the request of the employee. Credit hours may be earned and used in quarter-hour increments. Credit hour use must be requested by the employee and approved by management in advance. A request to use credit hours will be granted, workload permitting.

If funds become unavailable through the lack of appropriations, legislative or executive budget cuts, amendment of the Appropriations Act, state agency consolidation or any other disruptions of current appropriations, DFPS will reduce or terminate this Contract.

  • Commitment of Current Revenues Only In the event that, during any term hereof, the Commissioners Court does not appropriate sufficient funds to meet the obligations of County under this Agreement, County may terminate this Agreement upon ninety (90) days written notice to Company. County agrees, however, to use reasonable efforts to secure funds necessary for the continued performance of this Agreement. The parties intend this provision to be a continuing right to terminate this Agreement at the expiration of each budget period of County. Agreements for the acquisition, including lease of real or personal property under Tex. Loc. Govt. Code §271.903 (Xxxxxx Supp. 1996).

  • EPP service availability Refers to the ability of the TLD EPP servers as a group, to respond to commands from the Registry accredited Registrars, who already have credentials to the servers. The response shall include appropriate data from the Registry System. An EPP command with “EPP command RTT” 5 times higher than the corresponding SLR will be considered as unanswered. If 51% or more of the EPP testing probes see the EPP service as unavailable during a given time, the EPP service will be considered unavailable.

  • Service Availability You understand that Service availability is at all times conditioned upon the corresponding operation and availability of the communication systems used in communicating your instructions and requests to the Credit Union. We will not be liable or have any responsibility of any kind for any loss or damage thereby incurred by you in the event of any failure or interruption of such communication systems or services resulting from the act or omission of any third party, or from any other cause not reasonably within the control of the Credit Union.

  • Line of Credit Amount (a) During the availability period described below, the Bank will provide a line of credit to the Borrower.   • Product Availability Under no circumstances shall Company be responsible to Representative or anyone else for its failure to fill accepted orders, or for its delay in filling accepted orders, when such failure or delay is due to strike, accident, labor trouble, acts of nature, freight embargo, war, civil disturbance, vendor problems or any cause beyond Company's reasonable control.

  • Teaching Load 11-1 The parties recognize that the number of students, the number of preparations, and the amount of planning time are related to student performance. 11-2 CLASS SIZE 11-2-1 The parties recognize that class size is related to economics and that reduction of class size is faced with fiscal constraints. The parties further recognize that it is not feasible at this time to set general numerical limitations upon class size because of physical space available, special programs, special student needs, attendance area variances, differences in scheduling systems, busing, and because of other variable causes affecting class size.   • Unused Escrow Funds In the event that a Closing does not occur when required under the Contract, or in the event that the Closing does occur but Escrow Funds remain in an account with Escrow Agent, the Escrow Agent shall notify OPWC in writing promptly thereafter. After receipt of such notice, OPWC shall deliver written instructions to Escrow Agent directing Escrow Agent’s release of the Escrow Funds. Immediately upon Escrow Agent’s receipt of such notice from OPWC, Escrow Agent shall release the Escrow Funds, or balance thereof, in accordance with OPWC’s written instructions.
