Education and Incentive Pay. It is the policy of the Police Department to assist permanent full-time sworn law enforcement officers covered by this Agreement, where practical and feasible, to participate in accredited training or educational programs designed to strengthen their abilities, which in turn directly benefits the department by assisting them in performing their duties. In furtherance of this policy, the City shall provide employees certain terms and conditions as follows:
Education and Incentive Pay. A. Bargaining unit employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement under the same terms and conditions as the City’s Administrative Officers, which may be amended from time to time.
