Each fiscal year during budget planning the 5 PNPC shall make a needs assessment and a budget recommendation to the 6 Medical Center for the next year’s nurse education budget. A representative of 7 the Staff Development Department shall be included in PNPC deliberations on 8 these issues. The Association may also discuss their recommendations with the 9 Medical Center at a Labor Management meeting.

  • Utilization Review We review health services to determine whether the services are or were Medically Necessary or experimental or investigational ("Medically Necessary"). This process is called Utilization Review. Utilization Review includes all review activities, whether they take place prior to the service being performed (Preauthorization); when the service is being performed (concurrent); or after the service is performed (retrospective). If You have any questions about the Utilization Review process, please call the number on Your ID card. The toll-free telephone number is available at least 40 hours a week with an after-hours answering machine. All determinations that services are not Medically Necessary will be made by: 1) licensed Physicians; or 2) licensed, certified, registered or credentialed health care professionals who are in the same profession and same or similar specialty as the Provider who typically manages Your medical condition or disease or provides the health care service under review. We do not compensate or provide financial incentives to Our employees or reviewers for determining that services are not Medically Necessary. We have developed guidelines and protocols to assist Us in this process. Specific guidelines and protocols are available for Your review upon request.   • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Program Review The Contracting Officer or other authorized government representative may hold semi- annual program review meetings. Such meetings will be held via telecom or video teleconferencing. However, the Government reserves the right to request a meeting in person. The meetings will include all BPA holders, representatives from prospective customer agencies, a combination of current and prospective customer agencies, or individual BPA holders. Some Federal Government Agencies and any approved State, Local and Tribal agencies may establish a central program management function. Such users may require their primary suppliers to participate in agency program review meetings on a periodic basis, at no additional cost to the Government.

  • Systems Review The Construction Administrator will conduct reviews of proposed roof, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, conveyance, sprinkler, telecommunications, and life safety systems, and will consider initial cost, availability, impact on the overall program, comfort and convenience, long-term maintenance and operating costs, and impacts on schedule.

  • Peer Assistance and Review Program 1. MCEA and MCPS agree to jointly operate a Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Program. The PAR Program is a mechanism for maintaining systemwide quality control and ensuring that all MCPS teachers responsible for teaching students are functioning at or above the high MCPS standards of performance. It provides intensive assistance for any teacher who has not yet achieved that standard or who falls below acceptable standards. Assistance and review are provided to both experienced MCPS teachers in need of significant improvement and teachers in their first year of teaching.

  • Validation Review In the event OIG has reason to believe that: (a) Good Shepherd’s Claims Review fails to conform to the requirements of this CIA; or (b) the IRO’s findings or Claims Review results are inaccurate, OIG may, at its sole discretion, conduct its own review to determine whether the Claims Review complied with the requirements of the CIA and/or the findings or Claims Review results are inaccurate (Validation Review). Good Shepherd shall pay for the reasonable cost of any such review performed by OIG or any of its designated agents. Any Validation Review of Reports submitted as part of Good Shepherd’s final Annual Report shall be initiated no later than one year after Good Shepherd’s final submission (as described in Section II) is received by OIG. Prior to initiating a Validation Review, OIG shall notify Good Shepherd of its intent to do so and provide a written explanation of why OIG believes such a review is necessary. To resolve any concerns raised by OIG, Good Shepherd may request a meeting with OIG to: (a) discuss the results of any Claims Review submissions or findings; (b) present any additional information to clarify the results of the Claims Review or to correct the inaccuracy of the Claims Review; and/or (c) propose alternatives to the proposed Validation Review. Good Shepherd agrees to provide any additional information as may be requested by OIG under this Section III.D.3 in an expedited manner. OIG will attempt in good faith to resolve any Claims Review issues with Good Shepherd prior to conducting a Validation Review. However, the final determination as to whether or not to proceed with a Validation Review shall be made at the sole discretion of OIG.

  • EDUCATION PROGRAM Measure 1a Is the school implementing the material elements of its Educational Program as defined in the charter contract? Meets Standard: The school implemented the material elements of its Educational Program in all material respects, and, in operation, the education program reflects the essential terms as defined in the charter contract, or the school has obtained approval for a modification to the essential terms. Measure 1b Is the school complying with applicable education requirements? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to education requirements, including but not limited to: • Academic standards, including Common Core • Graduation requirements • State assessment and student testing • Implementation of mandated programming as a result of state or federal funding, including Title I and Title II funding Measure 1c Is the school protecting the rights of students with disabilities? Meets Standard: Consistent with the school’s status and responsibilities as a school within a single LEA under the State Department of Education, the school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract (including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act) relating to the treatment of students with identified disabilities and those suspected of having a disability, including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Identification and referral • Appropriate development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans • Operational compliance including the academic program, assessments and all other aspects of the school’s program and responsibilities • Discipline, including due process protections, manifestation determinations and behavioral intervention plans • Access to the school’s facility and program to students in a lawful manner and consistent with students’ IEPs or Section 504 plans • Appropriate use of all available, applicable funding Measure 1d Is the school protecting the rights of English Language Learner (ELL) students? Meets Standard: The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to ELL requirements (including Title III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act [ESEA] and U.S. Department of Education authorities), including but not limited to: • Equitable access and opportunity to enroll • Required policies related to the service of ELL students • Proper steps for identification of students in need of ELL services • Appropriate and equitable delivery of services to identified students • Appropriate accommodations on assessments • Exiting of students from ELL services • Ongoing monitoring of exited students

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Synchronisation Commissioning and Commercial Operation 8.1 The Developer shall provide at least forty (40) days advanced preliminary written notice and at least twenty (20) days advanced final written notice to ESCOM of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.
