The union proposes that these representatives will contribute to and be called upon to provide support or information around the frontline work of CMHA-Kings, and may be a resource relied on by the Board for perspective about the day to day operations of CMHA-Kings and service to the clients. The Board of CMHA-Kings values the perspective of staff members, and will work in good faith toward a formal and mutually supportive relationship. Effective immediately, the Board Chair and Executive Director will meet monthly with the President of Local 49 and another union official to discuss matters of mutual interest. As the Board completes its own governance policies, this MOA will be considered. It is expected that dialogue will continue on this matter until a mutually satisfactory arrangement is reached regarding staff representation to the Board.   • Retroactive Pay for Terminated Employees An employee who has retired or severed his/her employment between the termination date of this Agreement and the effective date of the new Agreement shall receive the full retroactivity of any increase in wages, salaries or other benefits.

  • Eligibility for Pay An employee granted military leave for emergency National Guard duty is entitled to receive regular University pay for a period not to exceed thirty (30) calendar days in any one (1) fiscal year. An employee is eligible for pay regardless of the length of University service, and such pay is in addition to any University payment for temporary military leave for active-duty training, extended military leave, and military leave for physical examinations.

  • Eligibility for Benefits A member will not be eligible to receive Long Term Disability benefits until their Income Protection benefits have expired.

  • Eligibility for Leave All regular full-time employees shall be eligible for paid leave. Further, all regular part-time employees shall receive paid leave on a ration of paid leave time accrued to the number of hours worked in the work week.
