Eligibility for Step Movement a. Any Employee who is at a step or rate below the maximum step of the pay range shall be eligible for and shall receive a step movement on the Employee's step movement date, provided the Employee has completed the minimum number of years of satisfactory creditable service required for advancement to the next higher step.   • Eligibility for Sick Leave Subject to the provisions herein, employees and officers (hereinafter called "employees") who are absent from their duties because of illness or disability are eligible for sick leave.
