EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION. In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the City, such as acts of God, fire, flood, insurrection, civil disorder or national emergency, or similar circumstances, the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding or the City's Human Resources Rules and Regulations, which restrict the City's ability to respond to these emergencies, shall be suspended for the duration of such emergency. After the emergency is over, the Association shall have the right to meet and confer with the City regarding the impact on employees of the suspension of these provisions in the Memorandum of Understanding and any City Human Resources Rules and policies.
