Employee Contributions for Part-Time Unit Employees. All part-time Unit employees regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) hours or more per week on a continuous basis who are enrolled in single, two-party, or family medical coverage under Kaiser HMO or Blue Shield HMO, shall contribute towards health care, as follows: a. For Plan Year 2013, all part-time Unit employees enrolled in single, two-party, or family medical coverage under Kaiser HMO or Blue Shield HMO shall contribute cost-sharing of 1% (one percent) of gross regular earnings on a pre-tax basis to the City via bi-weekly payroll deduction. In addition, all part-time Unit employees who are regularly scheduled to work thirty (30) hours or more per week shall contribute twenty-five (25) percent of the “blended ratein effect at that time for the elected level of coverage. All part- time Unit employees who are regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) hours or more per week shall contribute fifty (50) percent of the “blended rate” in effect at that time for the elected level of coverage. b. Effective with Plan Year 2014, all part-time Unit employees who are regularly scheduled to work thirty (30) hours or more per week shall contribute thirty-two and one-half (32 ½) percent of the “blended rate” in effect at that time for the elected level of coverage. All part-time Unit employees who are regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) hours or more per week who are enrolled in single, two-party, or family medical coverage under Kaiser HMO or Blue Shield HMO shall contribute on a pre-tax basis fifty-five (55) percent of the “blended rate” in effect at that time for the elected level of coverage. c. Effective with Plan Year 2015, all part-time Unit employees who are regularly scheduled to work thirty (30) hours or more per week shall contribute thirty-four and one-quarter (34 ¼) percent of the “blended rate” in effect at that time for the elected level of coverage. All part-time Unit employees who are regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) hours or more per week who are enrolled in single, two-party, or family medical coverage under Kaiser HMO or Blue Shield HMO shall contribute on a pre-tax basis fifty-six and one-quarter (56 ¼) percent of the “blended rate” in effect at that time for the elected level of coverage. d.   • Benefits for Part-Time Employees ‌ A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. (b) A part-time employee working less than the normal days per week of a full-time employee, and who is required to work other than their regularly scheduled workdays, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the days so worked up to and including the normal workdays in the workweek of a full-time employee. (c) Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of (a) and (b) above.

  • Employee Contributions Any member of the bargaining unit who is hired on or after September 1, 2010 is eligible to make a voluntary contribution to the City=s Deferred Compensation Plan offered by Ameritas.

  • Special Maternity Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who: (i) fails to satisfy the eligibility requirement specified in subparagraph 17.02(a)(ii) solely because a concurrent entitlement to benefits under the Disability Insurance (DI) Plan, the Long term Disability (LTD) Insurance portion of the Public Service Management Insurance Plan (PSMIP) or the Government Employees Compensation Act prevents her from receiving Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance Plan maternity benefits, and (ii) has satisfied all of the other eligibility criteria specified in paragraph 17.02(a), other than those specified in sections (A) and (B) of subparagraph 17.02(a)(iii), shall be paid, in respect of each week of maternity allowance not received for the reason described in subparagraph (i), the difference between ninety-three per cent (93%) of her weekly rate of pay and the gross amount of her weekly disability benefit under the DI Plan, the LTD Plan or via the Government Employees Compensation Act. (b) An employee shall be paid an allowance under this clause and under clause 17.02 for a combined period of no more than the number of weeks during which she would have been eligible for maternity benefits under the Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance Plan had she not been disqualified from Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance maternity benefits for the reasons described in subparagraph (a)(i).
