Employees Assistance Program (EAP) Responsibilities. In order to promote a drug and alcohol-free environment, ▇▇▇▇ will work to assist eligible employees with problems due to the use of drugs or misuse of alcohol. Accordingly, separate from any programs regarding drug and alcohol testing mandated by the FTA and DOT, ▇▇▇▇ has established and encourages the use of its Employee Assistance Program (“the EAP”). The EAP was established in part so that an employee who recognizes that he/she has a drug use or alcohol misuse problem may have the opportunity to receive treatment and rehabilitation. ▇▇▇▇’▇ EAP will assist eligible employees with drug use and alcohol misuse problems, and related concerns, through one or more of the following depending upon the circumstances of each particular case: • Consultation with supervisors and/or other Pace officials. • Evaluation and referral. • Individual and group counseling. • Individual case management. • Crisis intervention. • Specialized education and training programs.
