Employer Provided Mobile Phones. As required Employees may be provided with a mobile phone for work purposes. The use of an Employer provided mobile phone for private calls is to be kept to a minimum. The Employer will audit mobile phone records on a regular basis and where the Employer believes that there has been excessive private use of the provided mobile phone the Employer will deduct an amount of money from an Employee’s pay that will cover the cost of the phone calls. Under no circumstances is a company provided mobile phone to be used to access or download any unacceptable or prohibited material. Should this occur disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment may follow.

Private calls are prohibited unless otherwise agreed with the employer or in cases of an emergency situation arising. The employer shall audit mobile phone records on a regular basis and where the employer believes that there has been excessive private use of the provided mobile phone, the employer shall seek to deduct an amount of money from an employee’s pay that shall seek adequately cover the cost of the phone calls. Under no circumstances is an employer provided mobile phone to be used to access or download any unacceptable or prohibited material. Should this occur, disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment may follow.

Should an employee lose their allocated mobile phone they are required to report the loss to their immediate supervisor as soon as possible. Mobile phones are to be used for employer’s business only. The employer shall audit mobile phone records on a regular basis and where the employer believes that there has been excessive private use of the provided mobile phone, the employer shall seek to deduct an amount of money from an employee’s pay that shall adequately cover the cost of the phone calls.   • Mobile Phones The Company’s expectations in relation to the use of Company provided mobile phones are outlined in Company policy HR-P13. If an Employee is provided with a mobile phone by the Company, the Employee shall be liable for the cost of excessive private telephone calls. Employees agree to make themselves contactable via their personal mobile phone to receive instructions from their supervisors, with the Company reimbursing Employees the cost of any such telephone calls.
