EMS Training Programs. A. The Contractor shall make a good faith effort to participate in a minimum of three monthly training programs for fire departments and other first responder organizations within San Xxxxxxx County. These may include, but not be limited to, joint training exercises and providing of instructors for training courses, evaluators for EMT and first responder testing, and similar activities. B. Contractor shall make a good faith effort to provide field internship opportunities for paramedic students from the Northern California Training Institute and for paramedic students from other San Xxxxxxx County approved training programs. C. Contractor will offer various programs and recertification courses for the medical professionals in the area. These will be offered within San Xxxxxxx County. Contractor shall coordinate its continuing education training with other EMS system participants so that local fire and law enforcement personnel and hospital staff may participate in the training as easily as possible.

EMS Training Programs. 3 A. The CONTRACTOR shall make a good faith effort to participate in monthly training 4 programs with ambulance providers, and other first responder organizations within 5 Stanislaus County. These may include, but not be limited to, joint training exercises 6 and providing instructors for training courses, evaluators for EMT and first 7 responder testing, and similar activities.

These may include, but not be limited to, joint training exercises and providing of instructors for training courses, evaluators for EMT and first responder testing, and similar activities. B. Contractor shall provide field internship opportunities for EMT, AEMT and paramedic students from Agency approved training programs and Placer County fire agency personnel participating in such training programs. C. For continuity of care and patient coordination, Contractor shall make available a minimum of six (6) classes annually of EMS continuing education opportunities for those Placer County fire agencies wishing to participate at times when Contractor offers the classes to its own employees.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Pilot Programs The Employer may develop voluntary pilot programs to test the acceptability of various risk management programs. Incentives for participation in such programs may include limited short-term improvements to the benefits outlined in this Article. Implementation of such pilot programs is subject to the review and approval of the Joint Labor-Management Committee on Health Plans.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-
