EMT PREMIUM PAY. Subject to the following, all safety employees in the Firefighter Unit, shall be eligible to receive an Emergency Medical Technician Premium payment equivalent to four and one-half percent (4.5%) of the current, top-step Firefighter biweekly base rate of pay, only.

EMT PREMIUM PAY. All paid Firefighters shall be paid the following additional rate to the Firefighters hourly wage upon certification. The following EMT Premium pay shall be paid in accordance with Section 4.06 of this Agreement. EMT Basic AEMT 3 or 4 06/01/04 $1.05 $1.95 06/01/05 $1.15 $2.05 06/01/06 $1.25 $2.15 06/01/07 $1.35 $2.25 Effective June 1, 2004, new hires will be required to maintain AEMT3 or Paramedic certification throughout employment. All paid Firefighters hired as Firefighters / EMT, will be required to maintain Basic EMT Certification. Xxxxx Xxxxx and Xxxx Xxxxxx will not be required to maintain Basic EMT or AEMT Level 3 or Paramedic certification. Xxxx Xxxxxxxx, Xxxx Xxxxxx and Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxxx will not be required to maintain AEMT Level 3 or Paramedic certification. The provisions of Section 4.02 of this Agreement are not available to firefighters hired after June 1, 2004.
EMT PREMIUM PAY. A. At the City’s discretion, a minimum of 32 employees in the Firefighter/EMT classification will maintain their Paramedic certification. B. All emergency services employees who hold a current State EMT-P Certification and have current standing orders from the Department's medical director shall receive ten (10) percent above top Firefighter (Step F) of their wage scale (day shift vs. 56-hour shift). C. All emergency services employees who hold a current State EMT-I Certification and have current standing orders from the Department's medical director shall receive six (6) percent above top Firefighter (Step F) of their wage scale (day shift vs. 56-hour shift). D. All emergency services employees who hold a current State EMT-A Certification and have current standing orders from the Department's medical director shall receive two percent (2%) above top Firefighter (Step F) of their wage scale (day shift vs. 56-hour shift). E. Employees outside of the Firefighter/EMT classification who do not desire to maintain Paramedic Standing Orders may elect to take EMT Intermediate Standing Orders, if qualified. F. Employees in the Deputy Fire Xxxxxxxx XXX job classification who have current EMT-P standing orders with the Department’s medical director shall also receive EMT-P premium pay at the day shift emergency services rate. Employees in the Deputy Fire Xxxxxxxx XXX job classification who have current EMT-I standing orders with the Department’s medical director shall also receive EMT-I premium pay at the day shift emergency services rate. A Nurse who works overtime (as defined in Article 7.07) on a recognized Holiday shall be paid at the rate of two times (2 x) the Nurse’s regular rate of pay for the overtime worked.

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Shift Premiums (a) All employees who are required by the Employer to rotate over two (2) or more shifts shall receive a shift premium of thirty cents ($0.30) for each hour worked on the afternoon or evening shifts only. Shift premium will not be paid for any hour in which an employee receives overtime premium and shift premium will not form part of the employee's straight time hourly rate. (b) In no event shall there be any pyramiding of benefits or payments.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • PREMIUM TAX The Reinsurer will not reimburse the Ceding Company for premium taxes.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.
