Level 1 (CW/ECW 1)(level b) Entry Level Labourer - after 3 months and less than 12 months, working towards achieving concrete cutting skills including core drilling and hand held sawing. Level 1 (CW/ECW 1)(level c) General Labourer - after 12 months, having achieved or working towards achieving concrete cutting skills including core drilling, hand held swang and road sawing. Level 1 (CW/ECW 1)(level d) Having achieved concrete cutting skills including but not limited to core drilling, hand held swang, road sawing, track sawing, wire sawing etc. Level 2 (CW/ECW 2) All the skills of a CW1(d) as well as having successfully completed external trade qualifications in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework. Note: Movement between classification levels is at the discretion of the Company. Should any dispute arise regarding the classification levels described above, the provisions of the Settlement of Disputes clause of this Agreement shall apply.

A minimal level of experience and basic competency in a limited range of tasks are required. Employees at this grade shall be required to have completed a WorkCover accredited Induction Training for Construction General Course ("red card"). Labourers shall also provide their own basic tools. Workers at this level will perform trades work and related tasks. They may work without supervision and be responsible for opening sites each day. They may provide supervision to Labourers. The requirements of this grade are: • Possession of a relevant trade qualification • Provision of own tools for all works except specialty tools.
