Equipment and Inventory Rover. UDP will provide OC with an Inventory Rover personnel. This position will be regarded as an entry level position. The duties of the Inventory Rover will be: • Collect equipment • Roam assigned area • Take inventory of resources for daily plan • Clean and collect equipment and miscellaneous items at the end of working day UDP will collaborate with OC to provide the Inventory Rover personnel with all the equipment and necessary tools needed to succeed. Although direct training may not be necessary, UDP will still provide its employees with an overview and expectations for the job. Lot Control UDP understands that a lot control worker is needed for directing the flow of traffic and control access in and out of the appropriate parking lots of the convention center not excluding ADA parking lots. Although training is not necessary for this position, UDP will provide its employees with an overview and expectations for the job. UDP and it’s team is familiar with the Orange County Convention Center and understand the importance of the lot control personnel. The lot control representative will need to be efficient and work diligently during busy events to help prevent a traffic jams. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL | SOLICITATION NO. Y23-123-RM 6 UNIQUE DESIGNS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. Transportation Worker A transportation worker will be necessary to assist in directing traffic in various locations of the OCCC. This will include but is not limited to: • Monitoring pedestrian crosswalks • Bus control • Monitoring of vehicles entering specific parking lots • Restriction of access in certain areas • Moving of traffic equipment weighing up to 10 pounds The role of the transportation worker will be defined after check-in and may change from day to day based on event. The transportation worker will be trained for a minimum of 2 hours on directing traffic, how to properly park a vehicle, pedestrian crossing, proper hydration and working in the outdoor elements. The worker will also be required to familiarize themselves with the different parking lots and areas of the OCC to ensure the proper execution of work. They will also wear the appropriate clothing during night events to help them become more noticeable. Parking Monitor The Parking Monitor will direct vehicles to specific rows and open parking spots, moving cones to open rows as vehicles fill the lot.   • STANDARD EQUIPMENT All items of standard equipment which are provided by the OEM shall be furnished unless such items are expressly deleted by the Authorized User or are specified to be other than standard in the Mini-Bid. If actual rental rates exceed manual rates, written justification shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer for consideration. No additional allowance will be made for overhead and profit.   • Equipment and Materials Contractor at its sole cost and expense shall provide and furnish all tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation services and any other items (collectively, "Equipment") which are required or necessary to perform the Services in a manner which is consistent with generally accepted standards of the profession for similar services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, District shall not be responsible for any damages to persons or property as a result of the use, misuse or failure of any Equipment used by Contractor of the Contracted Parties, even if such Equipment is furnished, rented or loaned to Contractor or the Contracted Parties by District.   • PAYMENT AND INVOICES A. The compensation shall be payable in the ordinary course of OSC business upon receipt of the Contractor’s invoice. Invoices must be submitted on a monthly basis. Approved invoices will be paid in accordance with Article 11-A of the State Finance Law.
