Equipment Shop Overtime. A seniority rotation policy shall govern the assignment of overtime work for mechanics in each work location. Overtime assignments, except for work in progress, shall begin with the most senior qualified employee(s) on the shop's seniority list. Subsequent overtime work assignments shall begin with the next most senior employee(s). All hours that an employee is unavailable for overtime work and all hours for which an employee refuses to accept an overtime work assignment (by failing to answer two calls for overtime work) shall be recorded as time worked, though not paid, for purposes of overtime seniority rotation. A list of employees’ statuses regarding overtime hours worked or recorded shall be posted weekly at the shop.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.
