Overtime Seniority. Where overtime shifts are required they shall be offered in order of seniority to nurses who have made themselves available, in the following order:

Overtime Seniority. In the event it becomes necessary for employees to work overtime, the Employer agrees to first offer such overtime to qualified employees in the department on the basis of departmental seniority. In the case of emergency staff shortages where no employees accept such overtime, then such overtime may be assigned according to rotating inverse seniority to qualified employees. The parties agree there shall be no pyramiding of overtime.
Overtime Seniority. All overtime hours worked shall be added to the overtime list. This list shall be updated every pay period and distributed to the Shift Commanders. Overtime shall be offered in order of lowest hours worked to most hours worked. A refusal shall count as hours worked. For the first list made all hours shall be zero (0) and personnel shall be listed by seniority. The list shall be equalized at the beginning of each year, the lowest employees’ hours shall be subtracted from each employees’ hours. Anyone added to the overtime list shall be placed with one additional hour more than the highest hours on the list.
Overtime Seniority. An overtime seniority list shall be maintained according to seniority in a descending order based on unit assignment. Seniority is determined by the employees’ first day of work.
Overtime Seniority. Regular full-time employees of each individual building shall be offered all overtime work before such work is offered to part-time employees of that building. Such overtime will be assigned to employees on basis of seniority on a rotating basis. In the event no employee desires to work the overtime, overtime will be assigned to the least senior qualified full-time employee in the building. In the event the least senior qualified full-time employee in the building has a legitimate reason for not working, he/she shall be responsible for finding a qualified replacement using a District Master Rotating List that is available from the Buildings and Grounds office. In the event no employee desires to work the overtime, overtime will be assigned to the least senior qualified full- time employee in the District.

  • SENIORITY 10.1 Seniority shall be defined as an employee's uninterrupted length of continuous service as a bargaining unit member. Each employee’s seniority date shall be computed from his/her first workday on the job as a bargaining unit member.
