Escorted Leave. The Leave Panel may recommend the use of handcuffs during escorted external leave. Such a recommendation will be based on the consumer’s SCALE. The rationale for the use of handcuffs must be documented in the consumer’s SCALE application and uploaded onto the ECR. The authorisation of the use of handcuffs on escorted leave must be given by the Clinical Director, FMHS. This authorisation, or rationale for not authorising the use of handcuffs, must be documented in the consumer’s ECR.

  • Paid Leave (a) An employee who is a volunteer member of the Defence Force Reserves or the Cadet Force is entitled to paid leave of absence for Defence service, subject to the conditions set out hereunder.

  • Carer’s Leave An employee may use up to 10 days accrued sick days as carers leave to tend to the care for members of the employee’s immediate household.   • Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part- time employees who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario subject to the following limitations:
