ESTABLISHMENT XXXXXXX. The dual-titles in this Agreement are in acknowledgment that the positions perform functions both on and off the riser as Marine Engineer or Marine Electrician or Marine Inlec pursuant to the Award and the Navigation Act. For ease of use documents relevant to the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act (such as the Safety Case) may use only the first part of the job-title, whilst documents relevant to the Navigation Act (such as the Survey documents and Sea-Service records) may use only the last part of the job-title. Maintenance department establishment xxxxxxx is agreed as follows:- • 1 Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer Officer [per swing] [ the position-description will require the possession of a Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency and Tanker Endorsement*.] • 1 Lead Engineering Specialist / First Engineer Officer [per swing] who reports direct to the Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer Officer and has delegated supervisory functions and responsibilities including the supervision of relevant shore-contractors. [ the position-description will require the possession of Tanker Endorsement* and Class 1 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency for appointed personnel, but employees with a Class 2 with Tanker Endorsement* may be required to act in the position.] • 1 Lead Engineering Specialist / First Electrical Officer [per swing], who reports direct to the Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer Officer and has delegated supervisory functions and responsibilities for all Electrical, Control and Instrumentation work including the supervision of relevant shore-contractors. • 2 Engineering Technicians / Second Engineer Officers [per swing], [ the position-description will require the possession of at least Marine Engineer Watchkeeper Certificate of Competency] who if they meet the criteria of clause 13.3.1 will be progressed to Engineering Specialist. • 1 Engineering Technician / Second Electrical Officer [per swing], who reports direct to the Lead Engineering Specialist / Marine Inlec Officer and if they meet the criteria of clause 13.3.1 they will be progressed to Engineering Specialist. • In addition, should the services of a Materials Coordinator [working onboard the FPSO on costing, purchasing and similar higher functions in addition to stores-control] be required then it is agreed that this position will form part of the Maintenance Department and be the subject of negotiations with AIMPE as to terms and conditions of employment. • The S...
