Examination Board and Appeals Board. ‌ 6.1. Contacting the Examination Board‌ Every degree programme has an Examination Board. The Examination Board determines, in an objective and expert manner, whether or not the student meets the requirements of the Teaching and Examination Regulations and the exit qualifications for the degree programme. Amongst others, students may contact the Examination Board with regard to the following requests: to be exempted from one or more interim examinations and/or partial examinations (see Section 3.11); to take an additional interim examination or partial examination (see Section 3.3); to extend the period of validity of an interim examination or partial examination that they have passed (see Section 3.12); to approve their choice of minor (see Section 2.8); for special arrangements to be made with regard to tests on account of a disability or chronic illness (see Section 3.13); for a revised examination timetable if the student is involved in top-level sports or entrepreneurship (see Section 3.4). Lodging an appeal with the Examination Appeals Board (COBEX)‌ Students may lodge an appeal with the Examination Appeals Board (COBEX) if they do not agree with a decision made by the Examination Board or by an examiner or examiners.   • School Board Review The School Board reserves the right to review any decision issued under Level I or Level II of this procedure provided the School Board or its representative notifies the parties of its intention to review within ten (10) days after the decision has been rendered. In the event the School Board reviews a grievance under this section, the School Board reserves the right to reverse or modify such decision.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Mandate of the Committee The mandate of the Education Worker Diverse and Inclusive Workforce Committee is to jointly explore and identify best practices that support diversity, equity, inclusion and to xxxxxx diverse and inclusive workforces reflective of Ontario’s diverse communities.

  • Evaluation Committee 16.2.1 The Association and the Board agree to establish a standing joint Evaluation Development Committee for the purpose of regularly reviewing the effectiveness of the policy, procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District and to provide recommendations to the Superintendent and Board by April 30.

  • Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program. The committee shall meet at least once every three (3) months and may meet more frequently as needed. Notwithstanding the above, any anticipated changes to the hospitalization and health insurance program which would result in a program less than equivalent to the existing program shall be subject to negotiations.

  • Authority of the Committee The Committee shall have full authority to interpret and construe the terms of the Plan and this Agreement. The determination of the Committee as to any such matter of interpretation or construction shall be final, binding and conclusive.

  • School Board Any reference to School Board or District in this Agreement shall mean the District and/or its designated officials.

  • Arbitration Board Where the parties agree to a Board of Arbitration, the party referring the grievance to arbitration shall also provide the name of that party’s nominee to the Board of Arbitration. Within ten (10) days thereafter, the other party shall answer by registered mail, indicating the name and address of its nominee to the Board of Arbitration. The selection of the Chair shall be in accordance with the list of arbitrators above.

  • Plenary authority of the Board of Trustees The Sub-Adviser and Adviser both acknowledge that the Fund is a mutual fund that operates as a series of the Trust under the authority of the Board of Trustees.

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.
