Examination/Study Leave. Any Teacher who, for the purpose of furthering Teacher training, enrols in any course at a recognised higher education institution, will be granted leave:

Examination/Study Leave. (Professional Staff) A professional staff member may, with the approval of his/her supervisor, undertake an approved course of study during working hours, where in the opinion of the supervisor and Executive Xxxx or Divisional Manager, the course of study is of direct value to the University and relevant to the work of the employee. Such courses shall not include subjects which are pre- requisites to the undertaking of the course for which study leave is sought. The University shall grant professional staff members special leave with pay for approved courses and examinations in subjects approved by the University. Such study leave will include reasonable travel time during normal working hours to and from the relevant venue.
Examination/Study Leave. 23.1 Employees shall be entitled to examination/study leave on full pay to sit examinations, or attend courses of study or conferences, that are relevant to their work at Aotea Pathology, and approved by the General Manager and relevant manager, as a means of attaining higher professional or academic qualifications.
