EXCEPTIONAL PROJECT BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCE. Teachers are entitled to compensation when exceptional circumstances exist as outlined below: Subd. 1. A teacher teaching a semester course shall be paid a stipend of $4,000 if all of the criteria below are satisfied. Maximum one (1) per semester. a) The teacher is instructing students in a project based learning format off the traditional instructional school property, at a business or other school-owned property, or otherwise designated site. b) The off-school property project based learning experience occurs approximately 90% of the class(s) time over a semester period of time. c) The teacher has extraordinary preparation duties for this class(s) which causes them to use up the equivalent of one full prep and increases the length of their normal work day by approximately one hour. d) The instructor is teaching a project based learning experience for the students that is directly related to a career academy. e) There is no educationally equivalent or practical way for this course to be taught in a traditional way within the walls of the traditional school property. f) The project based teaching experience is approved by the building principal. Subd. 2. Over the period of a trimester, a teacher shall be paid a stipend of $2,670 if all of the criteria below are satisfied. Over the period of a quarter, a teacher shall be paid a stipend of $2,000 if all of the criteria below are satisfied. Maximum one (1) per Quarter or Trimester. a) The teacher is instructing students in a project based learning format within the traditional instructional school building or immediately adjacent to the school building. b) The project based learning experience occurs approximately 90% of the class(s) time over a trimester or quarter. c) The teacher has extraordinary preparation duties for this class(s) which causes them to use up the equivalent of one full prep and increases the length of their normal work day by approximately one hour. d) The instructor is teaching a project based learning experience that is directly related to the Minnesota Standards, or building/subject/grade curriculum. e) The project based teaching experience is approved by the building principal.

  • Geographic Area and Sector Specific Allowances, Conditions and Exceptions The following allowances and conditions shall apply where relevant.   • – OTHER SPECIAL CONDITIONS I. 12.1 Exchange rate applicable for the conversion of currencies into euro Payments shall be made by the Commission in euro. The co-ordinator shall submit the payment requests in accordance with article I.5.3, including the underlying financial statements, in euro. By way of derogation from article II.16.1, any conversion of actual costs into euro shall be made by the beneficiary at the monthly accounting rate established by the Commission and published on its website applicable on the day when the cost was incurred.

  • POST-REVIEW DISCOVERIES If, during the implementation of an undertaking, a previously unidentified property that may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register is encountered, or a known historic property may be affected in an unanticipated manner, the Agency Official shall follow 36 C.F.R. § 800.13(b). A. In the event that previously unidentified archeological sites or human remains are discovered during project construction, that portion of the project shall stop immediately and the project manager shall take appropriate steps to immediately secure the site, and shall notify the Agency Official within 48 hours. The Agency Official shall immediately notify the SHPO/THPO, Tribes, and other relevant consulting parties including descendent communities. B. If human remains are discovered, they shall be respectfully covered over and protected. In addition, the project manager shall immediately notify local and/or state law enforcement authorities including medical examiner or coroner, pursuant to local and state law. C. The Agency Official shall consult with the SHPO/THPO and Tribes or other descendent community representatives to determine if the discovered site appears eligible for the National Register. If it does appear eligible, the Agency Official shall submit a treatment plan for the avoidance, protection, recovery of information, or destruction without data recovery to the SHPO for review and comment. The treatment plan shall be consistent with the ACHP’s handbook Treatment of Archaeological Properties and subsequent amendments and SHPO Human Remains Discovery Protocol. If human remains are discovered, the treatment plan shall follow the guidance in Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Policy Statement Regarding Treatment of Burial Sites, Human Remains and Funerary Objects, including appropriate consultation with descendent communities. Avoidance and preservation in place are the preferred options for treating human remains. D. The Agency Official shall notify relevant consulting parties of the unanticipated discovery and provide the proposed treatment plan for their comment. Construction work in the area of the discovery shall not continue until the plan has been accepted by SHPO/THPO and implemented. E. An undertaking that may affect a human burial site shall comply with provisions of New York State and local laws, the terms of this Agreement notwithstanding.

  • SITE-BASED DECISION MAKING A. The District shall provide the training and staff development to support accountability/site- based decision-making activities. Teachers shall be given release time to attend these programs. B. Participation on the SAC shall not serve as a basis for the evaluation of any teacher. C. A minimum of three (3) to a maximum of five (5) teachers from each school shall serve on their school’s budget advisory committee formed for the purpose of making recommendations on the school’s general fund budget. Teacher members shall be elected by the faculty. Minutes from such meetings may be requested by the faculty and may be posted on the CTA bulletin board at the school by the Association Representative.

  • Work Experience Formula hour equivalents will be given on the basis of the following number of students enrolled at fourth week census: 5-14 students enrolled = 1 (one) formula hour 15-24 students enrolled = 2 (two) formula hours 25-34 students enrolled = 3 (three) formula hours
