Extended Pregnancy/Parental Leave. 23.01 The Board shall grant an extension to the parental or pregnancy leave as provided in Article 20 and Article 21 in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this Article. 23.02 The Member shall provide a written request to the Board at least four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled end of the leave, as outlined above, indicating the start and end dates of the extended leave. 23.03 The extended leave shall not exceed one (1) year.
